as someone who has been to a zoo that has both red and Arctic foxes, the Arctic exhibit smelled way worse, but I can't say if it's because Arctics smell worse or because their enclosure was smaller and closer to the path than the reds

Red Foxes have several scent glands on their bodies which contribute to their stink. Arctic Foxes however, I've heard, do scent mark via pee and poo butt it's actually the Fox den and remains of eaten rodents and various (decaying) food caches that makes the Arctic Fox stink. It's so strong you can actually tell a nearby Arctic Fox den if you just happen to walk by. Red Foxes cache food too tho butt I guess it's not concentrated to the den itself.

Purrsonally I'd expect the Arctic Fox to be the less stinkier one considering they're prey to many larger predators. Logically, you wouldkn't want to announce your presence like that. Also, Arctic Fox litter size has a studied correlation w/ the availability of food (usually scarce, leading to a small litter) so they're getting double-shafted in terms of survival.

What’s the source of the dust? That very well might be your issue.
>>
>>5101127
just normal human dust, they're in my bedroom and my PC tends to drag in the dust from the rest of the house.
I put in a UV sterilizer last night. They were cheaper than I expected. I know it's not addressing the root, but I'm still waiting on those coarse sponge filters and sick of looking at it.

The metabolism of a snake is too slow, but cats aren’t able to pursue rodents into cover and tend to choose easier prey. Owls and Weasels are the way to go.

>Mandatory microchipping and registration of all dogs and cats in the EU

It's happening. The EU has taken the firs step into preventing crush porn. It's a small step but a huge one at the same time. Crush porn enthusiasts torture animals for their entire lifetimes. They will never be caught, they will bury animals in the forest, in their yards, or just throw in the trash can. There will never be an investigation, nobody is looking to prevent animal abuse like we actively strive to prevent and detect human/child abuse. In china it's not even illegal to torture animals so pic related, they do it in the open and you can even get paid to be a professional cat deleter.

But now a first step has been taken in registering all cats and dogs.

We ultimately need to copy/paste all procedures in place to stop child abuse and use them very same ones for animals. It's the only way to keep all animals safe.

But now, if you dump an animal and its not microchipped, there will be a police investigation.

EUROPEAN ANIMAL ABUSERS ARE FREAKING OUT RIGHT NOW. THEIR LITTLE DAILY ANIMAL TORTURE IS ABOUT TO GET NERFED

>pain is the basis of my moral system
You're what's called a hedonist and your type has always been wrong, always. Your ethics were invented as a joke to mock even shittier philosophers.
>process empathy like normal people
Humans are predators. NORMAL people do not have empathy for animals. What little empathy people feel for some animals - most of which were bred to trigger empathy unnaturally - is not enough to equate them with people.

How's this
0) God created man in his image
1) Animals aren't people
2) We eat them
3) Logic dictates their moral worth reaches only as far as it benefits us

Also, your stupid microchip/registration idea has been debunked as ineffective for your stated goal a dozen times ITT and you never addressed that, ever. Not once.

all brown people prefer cats to dogs

disliking cats is distinctly white

brown countries = dogs attack people and spread rabies, low iq brown brain thinks cats are keeping the rats at bay (they aren't)
white countries = dogs are friendly family members, only pitbulls do anything bad, high iq white brain notices roaming cats spread brain worms that kill babies and cause schizophrenia

Those are basically just English Bulldogs with a little bit of admixture here and there with cropped ears , they're barely even American Bullies anymore either, they're essentially a breed unto themselves, but the APBT admixture is probably less than 5% at this point

An Dobhar Chú (The Water hound)
A giant man-eating otter. Several sightings have been recorded, including relatively recently. It is not a commonly known cryptid even in Ireland, but yet it has been reported by those who knew nothing of it. possibly a rare giant species of Irish Otter that can prey on people if it's desperate

Me, My dog was 11y old when I got my bun, I was really scared about it.
Never had any problems, except my bun attacking my dog for no reason, my dog never entered my room again because my bun didn’t let him.
>>
>>5100694
not personally, but a friend of mine had two elderly bunnies and then got an elderly border collie. They were fine together, though it was always set up so that the bunnies and dog had spaces they could retreat to.

One of the bunnies died of old age, then the dog died, then she got a "young but not puppy" collie, then the second bunny died of old age. There were never any bunny/dog violence incidents and the dog never stressed the bunny.

The breed will matter - the dogs were a retired ex-herding sheepdog and then a "flunked outta herding class" dog, so not prey drive/"put it in my mouth" dogs. It'd be a very different story with terriers or such, and also it depends on the rabbits.
>>
>>5101004
Yeah. I'd imagine something like a German Shepherd dog would be a good pick. Thanks for your story.
>>
>>5100694
No, but it's also a bad idea. Highly dependent on both the dog's temperament and breed. I would be ready to have separate areas for each if they don't get along.
