Last time I had tires replaced they simply didn't balance them at all and I had to come back a week later. That's a 50% miss rate for me on new tire balancing. I'd take the risk of slightly worse balancing versus no balancing any day.

3.4% is the area where inflation is going to consume the value of the reinvested portion eventually, 3% keeps it level.
Me personally, I would pay myself whatever calculates out to the yearly necessities and withdraw in chunks for whatever needed/wanted.

In either case the goal is really to maintain the value if not outright increase it, and pass it on to the next person. Blowing a collected sum of money is retarded and, as you said, 300k/yr is a comfortable life.

Shoomer bros, i made an excellent discovery
If you have nylon gloves or the like and are doing the cleaning of stuff, use coconut oil to slip into them and never get swanky stinky handa ever
I had to use it becahse the gloves fren gave me are mediums and in like XL for rubbergloves, so theyre tight as fug but i can slip in them if in yamalubed with coconut oil

Also

Just about finished cleaning mating surfaces and other places, probably begin the piston reassembly by tonight once i get some pipecleaners for the spark pkug hole because it has some weird shit down by where the threads are

Is dielectric grease overkill on motorcycle sparkplugs or is that something that wouldnt hurt?
Ive never used the stuff so idk how much or little or if it even matters

Hi, anons. I am taking an admission exam for a mechanical engineering project in Brazil focused on building a "Baja" vehicle (a kind of small off-road vehicle designed for 4x4 competitions). The suspension system currently used is the swing axle suspension. The exam question is: "What would be the best geometry for this type of suspension, considering its advantages and disadvantages?"

Could you guys help me with this?

I've been running Rexing because I really like the form factor and how they tuck into the windshield behind the mirror but they keep fucking failing to record, after a while they stop working and a month later I'll pull the footage and realize they haven't been working. I've only got one working out of five (I run three and have already replaced two due to failure). Again I love how they fit but I just can't risk losing footage and not knowing it.

What is the most die hard long lasting dash cam brand? Bonus if you can read the fucking plates in the footage.

I ended up buying a 70mai A510S front + rear hardwire setup, it has parking mode timelapse recording and it has the sony starvis 2 sensor (which is the thing right now). Was like $130 for the whole setup. Plates easily readable on the front, not so great on the back but it's enough to capture what's going on.
>>
>>28947654
>>28946449
I'm leaning toward the A800SE it's supposed to be more heat resistant. What's stopping me is it's unclear what I actually need to capture damage or disturbance when the car is parked. There are several kits like the UP05 that are unclear in purpose and it's unclear if the unit has any sort of battery itself or if I actually need what looks like a UPS brick. I've got three vehicles that need cams and two of them sit enough they need solar trickle already and the third is my daily which gets driven multiple times a day usually.
>>
>>28947828
You'll need the brick to not drain your battery. Mine has an option of shutting off parking mode after 12 or 24 hours and I don't use the battery brick, but I drive everyday and my hybrid vehicle doesn't use the 12v battery to start the engine, so I don't use the brick.
>>
>>2894618
Use an old go pro.

requires 5v/2A power source, long USB C cable, reliable SD card.

Front camera only
>buy used go pro hero 2018 or any that has loop recording for <$100
>take off battery door
>insert SD card
>remove battery or it will overheat and turn off
>connect usb C to port
>get standard go pro helmet stickers on windshield and mount camera
>press record every time you start car

Ignition off recording

man, fuck trying to remove sway bar links when they've been marinating in a water-salt-mixture for a few years. unless the previous mechanic was smart enough to put some decent anti-seize on the threads (almost nobody does so it seems) then it's always necessary to use an angle grinder or sawzall to get it out of there
