Coming from a KIA K4. Bought this 2007 Camry XLE as a 2nd car... Holly shmolly, this thing is smooth like butter. The chairs are made from true leather. Comfy as hell. Engine doesn't sound. No sound find, 0 sound. Looks like an EV.

I don't wanna get back to that K4.

I love this reliable immortal shit made hell's 8th circle.

Ive had 3 and the Lexus version (I travel for work).
I take them to about 400k miles then get another one with about 100k miles and do it again.
>>
>>28948621
Mine has only 120k miles. I spent today 600 bucks in the front suspension to get it straight. And God knows if it was worth the cost. The riding was funny and soft.

Bought it for 3500$. Best investment of my life.

Leave the SUVs, Crossovers and Trucks, and return to Mazda

Say you're driving in 4th gear and begin to approach a stop sign. Should you:

A. Lift off the accelerator, remain in 4th gear, pop to neutral shortly before coming to a complete stop.

B. Decelerate while downshifting through 3rd and 2nd gears before coming to a complete stop.

C. Pop into neutral and coast/brake to a complete stop.

D. Other.

Fuck off Brandon you haven't had a stick shift in years.
>>
>>28947043
Just buy a car from this century lmao. It's not worth it to have to shift every 10 seconds just for the off chance someone might think you're cool when you put it in the wrong gear to make a loud noise. We know that's the only reason you fags cling to tranuals.
>>
>>28947043
Downshift all the way because I'm on a motorcycle
>>
>>28947043
Legally in the US you are to downshift through the gears until you come to a complete stop and not move with the clutch disengaged, ie "coasting", more than about a car length. The transmission is not to be out of gear ever on public roads. Nobody actually does that but thems the rules.

For me, when coming to a stop sign I'll downshift if necessary but declutch close to the stop but always leave the trans in gear until stopped and then pop it over into First so there's no waiting for the synchros like you would need to if you coasted in Neutral with the clutch out. Yeah, it's only a second but that's an eternity at a stop sign. At a red light where I think I'll be stopped for while I'll throw the trans into Neutral and coast in. Once stopped I'll monitor the light and be sure to get in gear before it's my turn to go. If the light goes green before I'm stopped I'll just throw it in whatever the appropriate gear is for the speed and continue on.

The true main reason The Ford Nucleon wasn't put to market is because it would immediately bankrupt the Fuel Industry, but they could've easily transitioned into maintaining and taking care of complex nuclear equipment normal people didn't know how to IMO.

>>

>Will there ever be a truck that is worth anything?
Not in the USA. Gen 2+3 Ranger/Mazda B, Nissan Hardbody/OG Frontier, OG Yota pickup and first two gens of the Taco ran too well and lasted too long. We get goymobiles with exploding turbos and pistons made out of slag now, and the interior needs to be big enough for an obese family of five. You'll get 150,000 miles and like it.
>>
>>28948392
Yeah there already are. The 40s power wagons are $2-350k right now.

As a first gen Cummins owner I think those trucks will be $100k restored within a decade. Blazers and Broncos already are but they're not really trucks tbqhwy.

Hi-boys got close but the market realized it was a bubble and you can buy a damn nice one for $50k that would've been 80 during covid.

Guys I have not done this before. I am currently welding up an OBS truck that I fixed up (replacing fucking everything but the engine and trans)

This thing was terminal, it was not really supposed to be saved. But I did it anyway. The whole back of the cab was rotted at the bottom, from cab corner to cab corner. Most of the box exterior panels are bondo-rust aggregate, sprayed with the wrong shade of Dupli-Color.

I cannot just use touch up spray with this thing, it needs a whole coat.

How do I make it look like this again? Will NAPA be able to color match? What products do I buy and how to apply them? All these paint tutorials are either a guy doing a rattle can job, or a guy doing some crazy $8000 pro job.

I cannot find a video of a guy just trying to redo a factory job in a cost effective way for less than $1000...

Goes hand in hand with using the term OBS.
Dont have any actual knowledge so you just make up shit your own mind recognizes and think just because you used a rattle can without runs youre now a painter.

Imagine someone getting an apprentice mechanic job and he starts calling connecting rods "piston legs" when ordering parts.

This world is fucking doomed.
>>
>>28948067

ur retarded im trying to find out what products to buy, every paint company says they are the best, i have no way of knowing what is good without

1. asking people
2. painting several vehicles myself to test different products

you are tarded
>>
>>28946438
>Nope. Doing it myself.
Absolutely not worth it for a single vehicle once you factor in buying the necessary compressor, gun, hoses, lines, miscellaneous air-handling equipment, build a booth (including exhaust management) trial paint of the same type you'll be using, and so on. Good results require good, correctly laid out equipment (no water! no oil!) and experience.

>inb4-guyz I totally shot a car in one evening with a pancake compressor and spray gun made from a windex sprayer and it looks like factory! They did not.

You are letting your children steer, right? If you're on an empty road free of obstacles, let them keep it steady Prepare them for the future. Get them a Power Wheels, you have the $300 to spend at Wal-Mart or just check Facebook Marketplace.
You're not just sending them off to the test retarded, are you? That's dangerous, especially for the drivers that will share the road with your spawn.

Talk me out of making bad financial decisions.
I just got rid of my 883 Harley about a week ago, and I’m looking for another bike.
I’m thinking about getting a Ural, CB750, or an early 80’s dirt bike.
The problem is I have too many options and I get stuck in analysis paralysis. Please help, anons.

No you don't, there's just one clear choice here, the Ural.
>>
>>28945924
Get the cb750, just don't be shocked about the difference in torque.

The CB is brilliantly simple, cheap to maintain, reliable as a hammer, very few parts in total, comfy UJM riding position, and you can customize the hell out of them.

Urals seem neat but I can't imagine the hell you must endure for parts let alone upgrades.

80s dirt bikes aren't the best, if you really want a rocket on the dirt road spring for a late 90s/early 00's Honder.

Imho, get that CB750. Shaft driven or a 99 nighthawk chain driven one is great either way.

I took a lessons on a Sunday morning in the eighties.
Cost about 50 quid total.
It became a thing where we would have a Sunday drive and I would just go where I wanted and comment on the navigation.
Dude told me to wait for the test because I could drive.
Nailed it.
Driving is difficult when surrounded by people that didn't learn to drive where they came from.
Pic similar to car.
