Still a bit too cold but soon I´ll plant these seeds to attract (hopefully) some bees, wish me luck!
Luck btw: Monday I was like really lucky! Had too much weight in my old backpack and the zipper gave in, I walked home with the bag wide open, purse on top!
Purse not lost but this cried for a new backpack - and what does this have to do with critters?
Plus the bag has 5 reflectors, so you see me in the dark! And Ingo hates it, so the adjusting has an end...
Ingo used the pink one too and certainly when I took it - I am much smaller - off it went from my shoulders.
Hm... actually a bit sad, though. I got "annoyed" with a smile always...
Oh, did you know:
This certainly is for...
The series:
"Not just cars: these things were invented in Germany
German publisher Gerhard Lang produced the first printed Advent calendar in 1908. Around 1926, Lang added chocolate pieces to the calendar, sweetening Christmas for children."

Made by (River) Oker-Bees, got this at the Tourist-Info, what better pressie to bring, huh?

That backpack story is wild – your purse went on a daring escape mission and almost succeeded! Love the bee facts, especially about the two stomachs and the flower appreciation. Planting flowers is a must!
Yes, and I am stomping, too, in the cold!!! So darn lucky!
Bees are so important!
Hello,
It is good to plant flowers to attract the bees. We do need the bees to stay happy. A bonus is the tasty honey they provide.
I like your bee on the backpack, very cute. Bee happy and plant flowers. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
...bee happy and bee sweet and don' get stung!
Thank you, Eileen, wish me luck, I have a black thumb, but I´ll try my very best! To a great weekend!
Tom, too late ;-) 2007 I wanted to get a dead sunflower to the compost and... hello, bee in there stung me bad. Like a little saw, it really did hurt. Poor fella died... But I don´t give up!
Bees indeed are the saviours! Hope the seeds that you plant grow into bee magnets!
Thank you! I hope for the best soon.
I try to plant flowers for the bees too, Iris.
Your new backpack is very cute and I love the bee charm. Himself has been starting his seeds indoors. I'll look forward to see your balcony flowers.
Bees are so important glad you are helping them out.
Thumbs up, RedPat!
Pressure! Under pressure... ;-) I´ll give my best, once it´s warmer. Got containers today.
Yes, I hope it works!!
Hello Iris :)
I like your new backpack and the charming bee trinket attached to the zipper. Also enjoyed reading those bee facts, and the apple and water tip. Yes we must help the bees, and plant more flowers.
All the best
Sonjia
Hi Sonjia,
thank you and yes, let´s plant (and hopefully grow) flowers!
All the best to you, too!
I like your new backpack too. I'd be lost without mine. Love honey bees and I know where a wild hive is which I check on from time to time!
Oh, very nice to know a wild hive!
We usually see lots of bees when there around here. Like the new backpack.
I love the new backpack, did it come with the bee charm already on it? I like the pink one too, lovely shade of pink.
I don't have to worry about feeding bees here, the gardens are full of flowers and trees that flower too and everywhere are bowls of water for animals and birds. The bee colony in the old white cedar tree is still there and was already there when I moved in 13 1/2 years ago. I wonder now how much honey might be inside that tree, if they are honey bees.
How nice! Was that bag of seed a gift from the city? I really like your new backpack!
Not so many bees here, sadly...
No, the bee hung on the wall > new home :-)
Ingo loved the pink one, hence it worked double duty for... years? Or more?
Lucky you with the bees! Here are only few- and I need them for my strawberries.
No, the seeds were some whopping €5, but for a good cause.
Bees are so important aren't they.
I like the bee on your backpack.
All the best Jan
I enjoyed your bee post-love your back pack and the bee charm too, I will be planting seeds for the bees and butterflies too-and hummingbirds hugs
