9 months old

That's right Sophie Rose turned 9 months old on Sunday. So I've decided once again to tell you 9 new things you may not know about her.

1. She loves to play with things that aren't supposed to be her toys. ( Like Wesley's pocket watch, jewelry, socks, and the remotes.)

2. At her 9 month checkup she weighed 18 lbs 8 oz.

3. She army crawls everywhere

4. The vacuum and washing machine scare her

5. She has learned to clap

6. Grass fascinates her

7. She loves listening to Jack Johnson but only loud never soft

8. She doesn't like to be left alone in a room

9. Her favorite snack is Cheerios

Thanks for helping me be more patient and caring. I love you Sophie Rose. ~ Love Mom

Why I Love Wes

As we are sitting at the table eating dinner we noticed our neighbor across the street struggling in his yard. He had been out in the yard all day and was still trying to cut down some branches. Wes who had been gone all day washing windows and helping set up things for a lady went over to help our elderly neighbor. After such a long day he saw someone who needed help. He just walked over there and helped. No questions asked. Thanks Wes for teaching me to serve others and think about others before myself. I love you!

Before... After....

That's right. We finally got our bedroom painted. The top picture is what it looked like before and the bottom one is what it looks like now. The paint color wasn't too much different from what we already had. But it's nice to have a feash coat of paint. I don't think the paint is as shiny as it was before. It's a little darker but not that much. I still need to hang back up our drapes and some pictures. So, what do you think?

The Perfect Ride

If you had a diaper box this would be the perfect fix for a fussy baby. Just put them in with some toys and push them around the house. It would provide endless entertainment until you move out of sight or a diaper needs some changing.
