Our Thanksgiving

This year it was the Womble's turn for the traditional Thanksgiving Dinner. It was also the first time I have ever cooked yams in my life. They actually turned out to be pretty good. I was a little worried.
Sophie loved seeing all of her cousins and playing with Reese and Rachel.
We had to make a trip up to Temple Square and see all the twinkle lights.

It was wonderful to see family and spend time together. Now the countdown is on until Oliver makes his debut.

Good News!

The past week I've been working on my Etsy shop. It needed some TLC. I organized all of my dahlia earrings and also made some new business cards and cards for my earrings.
Don't the earrings look so pretty? I've been needing to do this for quite sometime but have just gotten around to it because............................. my earrings are going to be sold at a boutique! That's right! My earrings are going to be sold in a boutique in Australia. I'm still in shock about the whole idea of my earrings in a store. But Australia?!?! Wow.
In my wildest dreams I would have never thought this day would come. I feel so blessed and know that Heavenly Father is looking out for me and my growing family.

I've been busy....

finishing up Christmas presents and making things for Oliver. Last year I made most of Sophie's gifts and decided I wanted to do it again this year. Plus, it's a great way to save money. With Wes in nursing school we don't have much money to spend on gifts and baby things. I really enjoy making things and think it's so much more personal than just buying something from the store. Don't you? Here are a few of the things I've made. If you want to see more info about each project just click on the title.

How Cool

Madsen Cycles Cargo Bikes
How cool would this be? They are a new Bike company called Madsen Bicycles. They are doing a link contest where if you post a link on your blog you have a chance to win one (and it doesn't even matter if anyone clicks on it)

44 more days

Can you believe that in 44 days we will have two kids?

We finally got around to setting up the crib. I didn't want to do a theme in his room so I went with this blue and brown crib bedding. I really love how the quilt is stippled. It's even better in person than online.
We've also stocked up on some newborn diapers. I forgot how small they are!
I've also organized his closet and hung all his clothes.

Now I'm sure that most of you are wondering if we have a name picked out. I think it's safe to share since we are pretty set on the name. Although I think just calling him "Baby Brother" is fine we are going to name him........
