Change is coming..

we can all feel it. We were hoping to stay here in Richfield for 2 years but our plans have changed. There are so many "I don't know's" right now. We don't know where we are going to move or where we will live. We don't know where Wes will work or what is going to happen in the next month. It's a bit overwhelming to think about what will happen in the next month for us.
Tonight I decided to listen to the general conference talk by Russell M. Nelson "Face the Future with Faith." I found so much comfort in this talk and hope you don't mind if I share a bit with you.

“Your prayers have entered into the ears of the Lord … and are recorded with this seal and testament—the Lord hath sworn and decreed that they shall be granted.
“Therefore, he giveth this promise unto you, with an immutable covenant that they shall be fulfilled; and all things wherewith you have been afflicted shall work together for your good, and to my name’s glory, saith the Lord.” 8
The Lord chose His strongest words to reassure us! Seal! Testament! Sworn! Decreed! Immutable covenant! Brothers and sisters, believe Him! God will heed your sincere and heartfelt prayers, and your faith will be strengthened.

I may not know how things will be in the next few months but I know the Heavenly Father is aware of our situation. He has blessed us so much on this journey the past two years and I know he will continue to do so.

Best Friends

When we first moved here to Richfield I met a young couple with a little girl Sophie's age. We became quick friends. The girls loved getting together. Sadly they have moved. But I just wanted to share some cute pictures of Sophie and Laura playing together a few weekends ago up the canyon.

5 Months Old

On May 20th Oliver turned 5 months old. He is doing great! Thank you everyone for your prayers on his behalf. A few weeks ago he almost weighed 13 pounds. Which is huge to us. We are thrilled he is doing so well.
He still loves to cuddle and be held and has just learned how to roll over. I think he has the best smile in the world. Seeing that gummy smile in the early hours of the morning makes everything so worth it.

We went up north last weekend and let Oliver try out Grandma Jewel's swing. He loved it!

 Happy 5 months Oliver!

Where's Sophie?

We had a really big yard. The majority of it is weeds. One night Sophie decided she wanted to play hide and seek.

There she is!

Mothers

I'm so grateful for my Mother and the amazing example she is to me. I know that she is always there for me, I'm so grateful for her love and friendship.
I'm also grateful to be a mother. Words can't express the joy I feel everyday. I'm so glad that I am able to stay home and raise our children. They are truly blessings from Heavenly Father and I thank him everyday for blessing me with Sophie and Oliver.
I hope you all had a wonderful day and that you remember how wonderful and amazing you are!

The Graduate

On Friday Wes graduated from LPN school.

We are so happy that we did it! Wahoo!!!!
Here's the 38 students that graduated.
I am so proud of Wes for graduating. We've sacrificed a lot to get schooling done. I've learned lessons these past two years that we wouldn't have learned if we stayed put in American Fork. The road hasn't been easy, it's been really hard but totally worth it. We still have a long road ahead but we are getting things done and that is a great feeling.
