Say Cheese!!!

Just Readin'

While making dinner I couldn't find Sophie anywhere. Wes told me to hurry and come look and this is what I saw. Sophie had climbed up on her chair and was reading herself a book. :) Cute huh?

Sewing Project #1

I wanted to make a book for Sophie so she could learn her colors. I came across a pattern to make a quiet book, but decided to go with the idea and make my own. This is what I came up with. What do you think?

After I finished sewing it I couldn't figure out how to bind it. Thanks to Grandma Jewel we were able to punch holes and attach silver rings. The plan is to cover them with different colored ribbon. It's almost done, I just need to add the finishing touches. I'm thinking of making an alphabet book next. Any ideas for future books?

Road trip to Richfield

Last saturday we decided to take a roadtrip south and visit Richfield. While there we found this sign for a campground. We had to turn around so we could take a picture. It's not everyone day you see a sign saying, "Whoa you're here!"

Making Faces

Sophie loves to pull faces. She just started doing this a few weeks ago. Luckily I got some pictures so you can all see.
Wait for it......
O! Right there. The perfect silly face!
Afterwards you get the giggles....
and the smiles, then it's time to start all over again

Lessons learned at the park

1. Slides make your hair stand up on end.
2. This tunnel is perfect for gazing out at the mountains.
3.It's also great to play peek-abo with Daddy
4. Tunnels bring out the giggles and smiles
5. Sometimes you just need to relax and take it all in

Winter Coat

We are off to the grocery store and it's Freezing here! Sophie's lips were blue this morning. So I got out Sophie's big coat, given to us by one of my sunbeams mom's in our old ward. Do you think she will stay warm enough?
