"Good for general documentation, but not AWS-focused"
What do you like best about Confluence?

Confluence is quite reliable when it comes to documentation and team collaboration. Its Ease of Use makes it simple for new users to get started, and the Ease of Implementation was fairly smooth within our setup. The Frequency of Use across teams is high, as it helps centralize information and keep track of ongoing projects. Overall, it provides a structured way to share and organize knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

On the downside, the Number of Features can sometimes feel overwhelming, and not all of them are relevant for day-to-day work. While the tool supports integrations, the Ease of Integration with certain third-party apps isn’t always seamless. In addition, the Customer Support experience could be more responsive and proactive, especially when issues affect collaboration at scale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A robust and reliable platform for software project documentation and workforce collaboration"
What do you like best about Confluence?

Confluence offers a clean and intuitive workspace for creating, storing, and sharing documents. At Caresystems South Asia, we use it extensively to document software projects, maintain client implementation guides, and manage internal processes. The platform is straightforward enough that most staff can begin using it with minimal training, and its familiar formatting options make navigation and content creation easy.

Rolling it out within our organisation was relatively smooth, particularly since we were already using other Atlassian products. Setup and configuration did not require heavy technical involvement, and new projects could be documented almost immediately after deployment.

Confluence has become part of our daily operations. Teams across development, consulting, and support use it consistently to record meeting notes, store technical specifications, and collaborate on project documentation. The range of tools available — from page hierarchy and collaborative editing to template libraries and search — gives it the flexibility to support many different business functions.

Its ability to connect with Jira is especially valuable, as it links project documentation directly with tasks and issues. Beyond Jira, integration with other Atlassian and third-party applications extends its usefulness, allowing us to streamline workflows across departments without needing separate platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

There are still areas where the platform could improve. Very large documents or pages with multiple embedded files can slow performance, which interrupts productivity. The reporting and audit trail features, while present, are not detailed enough for strict compliance requirements. Offline use is also limited, which can create difficulties when teams are working with clients in locations where internet connectivity is unreliable.

Customer assistance is another area of concern. While Atlassian provides thorough online guides, knowledge bases, and community forums, direct hands-on support is less accessible. For urgent issues, relying heavily on self-service materials can be frustrating and time-consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Confluence is the reference guide for the future"
What do you like best about Confluence?

Confluence is our bible of information, its very interactive so we can use images as a guide that help us to be more aware about what is is missing in our implemetation, also when we need to check information the custome support is attentive to our processes, we use confluence daily and we integrate with all our tools since is very easy to get. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

So far the only thing that it is a difficult bullet point is the assignment of roles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Perfect for documentation and cross-team alignment"
What do you like best about Confluence?

It's super easy to organize team documentation and share knowledge in one place. I like how you can create pages quickly, link them together and collaborate in real-time. The integration with Jira makes it even better for tracking project details. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

Formatting can sometimes get tricky, especially when copy-pasting from other tools. The search feature also feels a bit slow when you have a lot of pages. Sometimes loading larger pages with images and tables takes longer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Confluence can be your single source of truth for documentation"
What do you like best about Confluence?

Confluence is very power, diverse, easy to use, very easy to implement & provision, can help with customer support and internal team support. My team and end users rely on Confluence every day for so many needs and we are finding more uses all the time as we integrate it into our workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

The ability to do some connections to Jira/Jira Service Management is still a little lacking when used for everyday ticket and asset tracking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Keeps our team organized and on the same page"
What do you like best about Confluence?

Confluence has become our go-to place for anything the team needs to reference: project plans, meeting notes, how-to guides, you name it. It’s easy to update, and the search works well, so I can find what I need without digging through emails or Slack threads. I like that I can link Jira tickets, add diagrams, or drop in code snippets right into a page. It makes it much easier to keep everyone (developers, designers, and stakeholders) on the same page without jumping between tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

Sometimes pages with lots of images or embedded content take a while to load, which can be frustrating if you’re in a hurry. Permissions are powerful, but they can be a bit tricky to manage, and if your team doesn’t keep things tidy, the content can get a little chaotic over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized Knowledge Hub with Seamless Atlassian Integration"
What do you like best about Confluence?

What I appreciate most about Confluence is its ability to centralize knowledge throughout the organization. It offers a unified, organized space where teams can document their processes, share updates, and work together in real time. As an admin, I find its seamless integration with other Atlassian tools like Jira particularly valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

Handling permissions on a large scale can get complicated, particularly within big organizations that have numerous spaces and user groups. Over time, it’s common for access settings to become inconsistent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized Documentation Made Easy, But Whiteboard and Spreadsheet Support Lacking"
What do you like best about Confluence?

I appreciate that all our team's documentation is now centralized in one place, making it much easier to search for information, especially for our Service Desk team. In the past, our documentation was scattered across multiple locations, which made it difficult for the team to remember where everything was, and it was even more challenging for new starters. By moving everything to Confluence, we've set the team up for success, and they really enjoy using it. I will also note that it was really easy to migrate everything across. It also has lots of great templates to use and we love the whiteboard features. The team use confluence all day every day for they jobs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

The whiteboard feature is somewhat limited because it currently lacks support for tables, which makes things more difficult for us. Additionally, within Confluence, we've had to leave our spreadsheets behind in Teams since they don't really migrate over. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Consider this before you implement confluence"
What do you like best about Confluence?

I really like its power as a centralized knowledge hub, which completely eliminates having separated information for your company. What I consider the most significant advantage is the seamless, deep integration with Jira, allowing teams to instantly link live issues, defects, development tasks, etc to comprehensive product and company documentation, and project plans. All of that, combined with a clear Space and Page hierarchy and real-time collaborative editing, makes it the definitive single source of truth for organizational knowledge and project context. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

I dislike its scalability and technical overhead. Sometimes, performance and loading time can become really slow when pages have lots of content, numerous attachments, or heavy macros, making editing a real challenge. From my experience, non-experienced users are the ones that suffer the most, especially with its extensive features and the initial challenge of navigating complex Space permissions and organizational structures. Finally, some people in the company have been struggling with the search function, as not all tickets are displayed before pressing the enter key, which may confuse them. "Best Collaborative Workspace - Confluence"
What do you like best about Confluence?

It allows teams to collaborate in real time, maintain well-structured documentation, and easily track changes or contributions. The seamless integration with Jira is a major advantage, especially for project management and software development teams, as it connects documentation directly to tasks and workflows. The use of templates and macros also makes it incredibly easy to standardize content and keep everything organized across the organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

What I dislike about Confluence is that the user interface can become overwhelming as the volume of content grows.

Without strict structure and maintenance, pages can easily get disorganized, making it difficult to find relevant information. Also, while the editor is generally easy to use, it lacks some advanced formatting options found in traditional word processors, and working with tables or embedded content can feel clunky at times. Finally, for new or non-technical users, learning how to effectively use macros and manage permissions can be a bit challenging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
