Valon Villagers and Orc Militia for Flintloque

Alternative Armies is delighted to present two further restored codes for the World of Valon in new molds with new images.  These follow up on the Deserter Army of Obidiah and on the twelve classic packs which returned in March too.  

All adding to Flintloque and to Slaughterloo choice for players in the realm of Orcs of Albion and typical folks to be found near battlefields.

58102 Valon Villagers: This returned and expanded pack gives you four different 28mm scale metal miniatures. An Orc wench in dress and bonnet, Elf woodsman or sailor with axe, Orc bandit or hunter with crossbow and lastly Elf villager with short pike.  Very useful in your games.  You can choose the pack or singles from the pack on its page.  Go HERE.

54514 Orc Militia: The Fencibles are the poorest quality Orcish soldiers and often privately raised. Meant only to serve at home in Albion they can sometimes travel to the front lines of the war. This restored code contains seven different poses and can be had as a skirmish pack of eight, a unit of twenty or single poses by choice.  There is a saving in the unit sized choice for Slaughterloo or big games of Flintloque.  Led by an Orc Gentleman who paid to raise them there are three poses of trooper with musket plus a bare headed trooper and a sitting trooper.  Lastly a larger muscular Orc Sergeant.  Make your choices on the page HERE.

Concrete Barriers and Barrels new 15mm release

Need a road blocked or a hasty defensive works put in place? Sculpted by Christian Cuello (he who created Barkhoven and Valon Civilians). New Modern Tents 15mm scale now released!

Everyone needs somewhere to sleep and often it is not possible to get forty winks in a four poster when you are out in the field up against the enemy. So having a good tent is ideal to keep the bugs, rain, snow and cold out and to keep you snug. Now released into our 15mm ranges new packs of modern tents sculpted by Elton Waters.  These go excellently with our HOF 15mm Science Fiction miniatures.  Go HERE or read on for more.

There are four codes of tents to choose from which are great for any game system.

FMS03 Frame Tent (2 Pack)
This pack contains two identical resin 15mm scale tents which are thick canvas material stretched over a metal tube frame. Suitable for four to six infantry.  Each model is rectangular and is 50mm long, 30mm wide and 35mm tall.

FMS04 Large Frame Tent
This pack contains one resin larger 15mm scale tent which is thick canvas material stretched over a metal tube frame. Suitable as a command post or workspace for small vehicles or eight infantry.  Each model is rectangular and is 50mm long, 50mm wide and 40mm tall.

The Witch Carline new and free in every order placed during October 2019

It is the season of the witch (love me some Donovan) and at Alternative Armies we have a brand new release to begin the month and its free automatically in every order placed on our website for the entire month.  The Witch Carline can also be purchased as normal.  All you need to do is place an order which requires physical shipping, not paid downloads (you can of course order this new miniature and you will still get a free casting of it too!).

FL24-02 The Witch Carline

She is old..very old.  No man now born knows just how old the Witch Carline is nor the limits of her power.  It is well they do not know for Carline was once known by another name 'Cailleach' from the ancient Celtic times of myth.  This hag was given her name by the Scots she terrorised and now in winter months children fear her and women keep a clean front step to avoid the ruination of her magic broom.  Great for any game system. This 28mm scale metal miniature (23mm tall) is supplied unpainted and without a base (pictured on a 25mm square resin base). Go HERE.

Here are some pictures of the new Witch alongside those who you might find in battle alongside her..forces of darkness and light.  Her sister in code the FL24-01 Midsummer Druidess is a mortal enemy.  The VNT31-05 Liche Lord would be her master and a great Nosferatu style Vampire from VNT4.  Are arachnids servants or simply beasts?  EH05 Giant Spider or EH06 Spider Swarm go well with the forces of night.  Our 28mm fantasy Wraiths are perfect companions to this Scottish Witch both on foot and mounted in packs such as VNT28 and VNT44.

During October 2019 for the whole month our range wide offer of 15% off every code is on the Jacobite 1745 Rebellion range in 28mm scale.  These go great with the Witch Carline and feature such notables as Bonnie Prince Charlie and Flora as well as a a piper, dancers plus sword, musket and pike troops.  As singles and a value pack with extra saving for one of each of the fifteen poses.  There are also twenty man units for battle level games.  Ends 1st November.

Huge new Dark Elf releases for Flintloque and Slaughterloo

REGIMENTA DEL SANNA ANNIE

Something of a legend in Southern Catalucia is the once magnificent Regimenta Del Sanna Annie, an ancient and venerable regiment of Grenadier quality troops in the personal service of Fernando.  Since those glory days the ‘Sannie’ as the Orcs call the battalions has taken part in many battles and survived them all almost intact.  Accompanied by a priest on a donkey and gaudy officers along with a veritable train of women and hangers on the Regimenta is a spectacle on the move.  It is organised like any other Dark Elf Line battalion with the same equipment.  The Regimenta may only serve in a non-Ferach Division or force.

If you are playing in Catalucia or Al-Garvey with the Orcs of Albion against the Ferach Elves of the Emperor Mordred then there is something here for you.  If you are playing in the Witchlands then some of the characters are very useful as are the infantry if you use them as turncoats in the pay of Armorica just like the Al-Garvey Ferach Legion Goblins.  

5110 Regimenta Del Sanna Annie (Box)

We hope you like this huge expansion to the Dark Elf Army.  We are in the process of writing up two different Flintloque scenarios for the Regimenta which will be published for free in the future.  Ambushed by Ferach Dragoons in an almighty exchange of musketry can Colonel Del Jaso hold off waves of the enemy long enough in 'I Thought these Barrels were for me'.  In a cat and mouse evasion scenario called 'Trot on Bacon' a patrolling section from the Regimenta under Captain Losa tries to lose Von Rotte Cuirassiers in the woods.

Ogre Mercenary and Reluctant Brigands released

Now released in the HOF Range four new 15mm scale Battlesuits!

Four new codes added to the HOF 15mm Science Fiction range for March and April 2018.  Security Force Alpha (SFA) brings a great deal more of the stompy  with variant battlesuit kits for many more specialised uses in battle and orbital freight yard.  These follow up on the original Bear Cat Battlesuit, the Uplifted Yeti Platoon, SFA Personalities and Dogs as well as  Tracker Wheeled Bikes and Portable Weapon Platforms with Gun Crew plus the Trencher Tracked Bikes from previous releases and are great for any game system and fit right in with the rest of the array of the SFA.

HOF121 Bear Cat Battlesuit – Go HERE.

This pack contains one 15mm scale white metal and grey tone resin vehicle kit which can be outfitted in several roles.  The Bear Cat (known as the Hell Cat in its loaded for battle variants) is composed of a lower body part, an upper body part which includes armoured cockpit as well as a left arm ending in a fist and right arm ending in a wrist.   Fittings for that wrist supplied are a twin barrel rotary cannon, a large chainsaw and a large power drill.  There are also two supplied top mount weapon options a missile pod and a machine gun.  Assemble your battlesuit for war or construction work or as a scrapheap post apoc project.
