Adventurers Party 1993 by Andy Cooper remastered returned to website

We are delighted to present returned to our website the ten poses of the Adventuring Party sculpted in 1993 for Alternative Armies by Andy Cooper.  Along with remastering them we now have them in new pictures and they are as singles and a set of all ten.  See them along with Evil Adventurers, Halfling Walking Party, a Wizards Progress, Deadly Foes, Classic Fighters and more.  Great for any game system in 28mm scale.

FL22 Adventurers Party:  Made up of the original codes of FL13 and FL14 you can enter the dungeon or the wild woods with Fighters, Thieves, Cleric, Bard, Barbarian, Half Orc and Female Halfling.  Metal miniatures in 28mm scale in the 90’s style.

Save with the set of all ten or seek out the singles as codes FL22-01 to FL22-10 such as FL22-02 The Bard above.

Our ongoing process of offering all miniatures as value packs and singles is now just about complete on the Adventurers and Wizards Range which includes the remastered Winter Knight (FL10) on foot and also mounted on a superb armoured horse.

Right now we have not begun on the Dwarfish Host Range as it still has its original images with packs (choose singles within the packs) but we have refreshed the molds of the Dwarf Runic Golem.  This magic construct stands 65mm tall and is easy to put together.

Halflings Gnomes and Cleric Pt3 restoring Asgard 1980s Dungeon Adventurers

The third part of restoring the Dungeon Adventurers Range is here. Following on the Dwarfs and Elves we now have the Halflings, Gnomes and Human Cleric. Mainly sculpted by Nick Bibby for Asgard in the early 1980’s these metal 28mm scale miniatures are once more back in the world as singles. All examples painted by the talented Studio Maxi. These are the last of the DA range for now as we will switch back to Fantasy Monsters (FM) and Orcs (OR) for the rest of the season. 

 

 

This very large range has some ninety poses in it and we shall restore as much as we can over time. We are now up to thirty one codes including the Weapon Sprue. Here are the ‘new’ codes:

Obidiahs Deserter Army set remolded and now singles!

We are delighted to present a classic Flintloque set now in new molds and expanded out onto the website for 2021.  From the late 1990's it is 5006 Obidiahs Army sixteen character miniatures on foot.  Go HERE for the deserter army or read on for more.

The Dwarf paused as Obidiah stirred in his sleep. The Orc‟s snoring became broken as he rolled over, mumbling incoherently “...git im muvver, shall y'no...”. Furtively glancing round the camp at the other sleeping forms of his deserter „comrades‟, Sven Nockwusrt silently thanked the gods which had seen him pull guard duty this night and thanked providence for giving him the opportunity that he craved. As Obidiah's guttural snoring rhythmically sounded around the camp once more, Sven cautiously moved towards the Orc and the object of his nefarious stalking - Obidiah's bicorne!

Since joining the deserter band two weeks previous, Sven had noticed the strange practice “General” Obidiah had of whispering and talking into his hat. Of course there could only be one explanation for this seemingly insane behaviour - it must contain some item of value, maybe gold or even a treasure map - yes, surely a treasure map!

Slowly, and with extreme care, Sven prised the bicorne from Obidiah‟s fingers and carried it carefully back to the smouldering ashes of the campfire. Sitting down, he opened the bicorne and looked inside... nothing? Nothing?!! Verdamndt!! Where was the treasure?! Surely the Orc wasn't so insane that he talked to his empty hat?! Mad enough to call a hat Muvver?!!!

It was a question for which Sven would never receive an answer. Before he could utter a sound, a swarthy calloused hand covered his mouth, whilst a knife was jammed up under his chin, burying itself deep within the Dwarf‟s brain.

Dropping the corpse to the ground, Obidiah licked his knife clean before picking his bicorne up off the floor. Stroking it affectionately, Obidiah whispered quietly;

"No one touches you Muvver, No one..."

So begins the story of former Sergeant of the 62nd Foote now turned General of the Deserter Army one Obidiah Hogswill.  One of the most eclectic and interesting armies in the World of Valon you will find many different races and ranks within it but all with one thing in common; that their own armies want to see them swing from a rope!

51524 7th Chassuers de Mamaluk Elf Cavalry released for Flintloque!

Alternative Armies presents the second of two big releases for Flintloque and Slaughterloo for the month of October 2016 and our last for the month too.  Both are online now and today we focus upon the re-mastered and expanded in terms of its poses and now released are the fabulous 51524 7th Chassuers de Mamaluk de Aegypt cavalry for the Army of Armorica.  They fight in the sands of Aegypt but also in Catalucia following their Emperor.  Go HERE or read on.

In the wild fights at the feet of the Pryamids of Aegypt the Armee of Armorica faced savagery never seem before in the heroic charges of the Halfling Mamaluk Beys of Aegypt.  Though the Elves prevailed against the Halflings and then against the ranks of the Otharmann Empyre and its Janissaries the Emperor Mordred was so impressed with the Mamaluk that he ordered a regiment raised and outfitted in their dress.  Though no Halflings serve in the 7th their savage attitude is very much present.  Having returned to Urop from Aegypt they are now in Catalucia fighting against the Orcs of Albion where their partially curved swords are wielded with a skill that puts any Orc Dragoon to shame.  They are superb light cavalry.  Small in number they are rightly feared...

These miniatures are 28mm scale white metal and are in the following poses. An officer armed with a High Elf Pistol, a musician with kettle drums, a standard bearer with eagle pole, a trooper with sword raised and a trooper with separate sword arm.  All are wearing Mamaluk gaudy uniform and are supplied with a horse richly attired in Aegpytian style.  You can choose from a skirmish pack of five cavalry with one of each pose, a unit of ten which contains five more mixed troopers and a trooper booster which has one random trooper. These options can also be selected as Pro-Painted and Based all using the drop down menu on the product page.  These miniatures are supplied with a Rectangle resin cartouche bases.  Manufactured in Scotland.  Go HERE.
