Original Seeder Notes:
Lineage: SB > unknown gen cass > CDR
Total Time: 41:22

Notes:
This one just turned up a few years ago and the sound
is amazing.I got this show in a trade a couple years back from a friend in Boston. It's the earlist Police show available with them as a three piece band and the only known recording where they played "Dead End Job". This one's essential for any Police collection.
About the show:
Here's an early show from The Police in Boston in the fall of '78. Recorded at The Rathskeller in Kenmore Square just a stones throw from Fenway Park, this Basement Club was the premier venue for Punk and New Wave in Boston in the late 70's. A friend of mine's band played "The Rat" often so I can testify that it was as Intimate as it was Rowdy! This show is originally listed as soundboard, however the sound is in Mono and was probably EQ'd at sometime (samples below) . All praise go to the Original Recordist & Seeder, and as always Your Comments are Appreciated!!!

Comments:  "The Gangster Is Back" is easily one of the most popular and widely circulated Elvis Costello bootlegs.  A few years ago the FM recording of the entire show, entitled "The Complete Gangster" began circulating.  This version mixes the entire "Gangster Is Back" (with a few minor edits) with the missing tracks and stage banter added from "The Complete Gangster."

Colosseum II - Electric Savage (1977)

Back From the Dead...
Originally posted October 26, 2012

Colosseum II - Electric Savage (1977)
Studio Recordings @320
{Out Of Print}

I’m afraid I absolutely love everything about this record; Don Airey on searing keys, John Mole thundering on his Fender jazz bass, Gary Moore giving his best performance on record, and Jon Hiseman reclaiming his jazz-rock god status as he leads it all with measured fury. Mostly instrumental and filled with tight, red-hot numbers, this has to be among the best live-in-studio albums in fusion history. But it was much more– it was also heavy prog at a time when most music was either heavy or progressive, with little serious blending of the two. Colosseum II brought the aggression of metallic rock together with the precision of symphonic jazz fusion in a way no one else could touch, not even Mahavishnu, and the result is one of the most electrifying sessions I’ve ever heard. Absolute dynamite.

George Harrison-Left Alone With My Heart

 *THANKS TO THE ORIGINAL POSTER

Password:fbsvw

I see that the powers that be are going to give us a 2021 remix of Georgie's "All Things Must Pass" (again) However this version is going to be less Spectorizied than the previous released versions. Hopefully it will bring out the nuances like the recent Bowie "Man Who Sold The World" Anyway no back cover so the songs are.
