Reformed Washington D.C. band The Dismemberment Plan play a live set on KEXP from Judson Memorial Church in NYC during CMJ 2013.
Recorded 10/18/2013.

http://www.dismembermentplan.com/

The Dismemberment Plan is a Washington D.C. based indie rock band formed on January 1, 1993. Also known as D-Plan or The Plan, the name comes from a stray phrase uttered by insurance salesman Ned Ryerson in the popular comedy Groundhog Day. The band members include Eric Axelson (bass), Jason Caddell (guitar), Joe Easley (drums) and Travis Morrison (vocals and guitar). Axelson, Caddell, Morrison and original drummer Steve Cummings formed the band in college, knowing each other from attending various Northern Virginia high schools (Axelson, Cummings, and Morrison attended Lake Braddock Secondary School together in Burke, Virginia). Cummings left the band after the recording of the Plan's debut album and was replaced by Easley, cementing the band's lineup. The Dismemberment Plan released four albums, before breaking up in 2003. They reunited in early 2011, touring the US and Japan and releasing a live album. A comeback album, Uncanney Valley, was released on October 15, 2013.

My favorite Dismemberment Plan record CHANGE.
Check Out "Superpowers".

"Superpowers"

I've seen the world's most beautiful women undress in ordinary solitude
I've fallen asleep in shift of distant satin
I've watched the rich risk it all for
Fifteen minutes in a Heathrow bathroom
I've shuddered as an unseen mouth slid down my spine every night
I have seized with the ice cold rage
Of a lover betrayed half a million miles away
I have cried so hard for hours and not known why, I never do
I've been knocked down flat by joy
That makes my face pulse like a sugar high
I've been cornered by the screams of a body as it freed itself of it's mind
I guess you could call it 'Superpowers'
But no one is going to save the world with what I've got
An indigo light from silvery towers
Surrounded by rocks and stones as far as the eye can see
I've been lost in a cold white space
As an arrogant dream storms in from another life
I have felt the snaps of lines that bind us all to this world
I have felt such unreal pain and not known what to do, it isn't mine
I have stayed awake for weeks and slept for days, not one dream
I guess you could call it 'Superpowers'
But no one is going to save the world with what I've got
An indigo light from silvery towers
Surrounded by rocks and stones as far as the eye can see
Under low gray skies
And a razored wind that tears at the walls

Eric Clapton - Live Jerusalem, Israel 1979

Rebooted by Request...
Originally posted April 21, 2014

Eric Clapton - Live Binyanei Ha'Ooma
Jerusalem, Israel
October 27, 1979
aka The Lost Israel Tapes
Excellent Audience recording @320

Tourography:According to Mark Roberty's book,
"The Complete Chronicle", there was only one show in Jerusalem
on October 27. There exists a tape claimed to be recorded
on October 29 in Jerusalem. During this tour Eric used to play
(at least) two concerts in several cities, so it's not unlikely that
he performed two shows in Jerusalem, too. The happening of
this October 29 concert is solely based upon the audience
recording which, of course, may be originated from the
October 27 show, being labeled incorrectly.

Disc 1:
1. If I Don't Be There By Morning
2. Worried Life Blues
3. Tulsa Time
4. Early In The Morning
5. Lay Down Sally
6. Wonderful Tonight
7. Country Boy (Albert Lee vocals)
8. Double Trouble

Disc 2:
1. Blues Power
2. Knockin' On Heaven's Door
3. After Midnight
4. La La La
5. Setting Me Up (Albert Lee vocals)
6. All Our Past Times

8. Cocaine
9. Layla

The Band:

The Rolling Stones - Bridges to Babylon Tour Rehearsals

*FROM THE OLD BLOG STONED SITE

Happy Thanksgiving to all. I would like to take this time and give a shout-out to what I'm thankful for. First off I'm thankful for my wife of 47 years and my two sons. I'm thankful for the few TRUE FRIENDS that I really have. I'm grateful for knowing people that I do share my feelings, thoughts with that listen to me, and even though we may THINK we can solve the world's problems it still just our opinions. I'm thankful that I don't live on the street. I'm happy here in my own world that is my creation and grateful, that I am able to sustain a good life. I'm thankful for all the brothers here (including my brother from a different mother Andy whom touts this blog on his blog constantly) And I'm thankful FOR YOU our readers. Even though many don't leave comments, just stopping by is kinda a way of saying thanks. And for those of you who do have something nice to say you are what keeps me going here.  Finally one last thing, I know some of you are put off by the nudity here, but come on there is NOTHING more beautiful  than the perfection of a woman's body (hope that's not sexist but it probably is) Bring on the stuffing!!!!! See scans.

Motorhead - Live Lausanne, Switzerland 1988

Motorhead - Hot Point Festival 1988
Lausanne, Switzerland
August 31, 1988
Liberated Bootleg - aka Deaf Forever
Soundboard @320

Soundboard recording of Motorhead's show at the Hot Point Festival, Lausanne, Switzerland, on 1 September 1988*, taped for French television (no doubt the footage will surface at some point). First time in Lausanne for Lemmy "since I was in Hawkwind"! Excellent-sounding recording of a show from the "Rock'n'Roll" album era - the album garnered lukewarm reviews, but their live shows of the time were very favourably received.

The Replacements- CBGB's Superstars

 *THANKS TO THE ORIGINAL POSTER

Damn...things are pretty bad right now. What with politicians who have said they won't accept the voters outcome unless they win. The price of bread being at the cost of a brain transplant. A brain transplant at the cost of an ounce of weed. Nuclear war as a Christmas present. Basketball players and rappers who think their world view is shared with the masses, and Paul Westerberg retired from music. So all I've got here is an audience recording (not too bad sounding) of an old Mats show. For some reason this here download cuts off after the Andy Griffith Show Theme. If one of our outstanding readers out there can point me in the direction of where the other songs are I will amend this AND GIVE YOU CREDIT  that's right now you can get your name up in lights and not be credited as *THE ORIGINAL POSTER

*JOBE NOTES: There are a bunch of dropouts on that first link so I've added a second link (Thanks to Teenage Dogs In Trouble) that does not have the drop outs, however the fidelity is better on the first link. See scans

LDB Master Series #288

Hello, this is a collection of masters I would like to seed here. I've been taping shows for more than 25 years (in 2013 I will celebrate 30 years of happy recording hobby!) and have an awful lot of masters. These are in different formats, following the technological evolution: first on analogue cassettes, then MiniDisc, some DATs (I borrowed a DAT machine to record some of the shows in late 90's / early 00's) and finally digital files using Edirol R-09.
