Malevolent Creation - Eternal

Genre: Death
Country: U.S.A.
Year: 1995

1. No Salvation
2. Blood Brothers
3. Infernal Desire
4. Living In Fear
5. Unearthly
6. Enslaved
7. Alliance Or War
8. They Breed
9. To Kill
10. Hideous Reprisal
11. Eternal
12. Tasteful Agony

4th album by Malevolent Creation. It is the first album without drummer Alex Marquez (mighty Dave Culross behind the kit) and original vocalist Brett Hoffmann, whose vocal duties were taken over by bassist Jason Blachowicz. It has a cleaner sound, more mature perhaps, as compared to the previous three albums, but maintains a quality of grittiness.

Blood Tsunami - For Faen!

Genre: Thrash
Country: Norway
Year: 2013

1. Butcher Of Rostov
2. Dogfed
3. The Rape Of Nanking
4. The Dungeon Of The Rats
5. Metal Fang
6. The Brazen Bull
7. Grave Desecrator
8. Unholy Nights
9. B.T.K.
10. Krokodil

3rd album by Blood Tsunami. Short, brutal, raw, simple and true thrash metal tracks. This album is less melodic compared to former releases. The riffage clearly owes a lot to the classics and has a nice old school feel about it. There’s a lot of early Sodom and Destruction to be heard here, with harsh vocals and thrashing attitude throughout.

Finntroll - Blodsvept

Genre: Folk/Heavy
Country: Finland
Year: 2013

1. Blodsvept
2. Ett Folk Förbannat
3. När Jättar Marschera
4. Mordminnen
5. Rösets Kung
6. Skövlarens Död
7. Skogsdotter
8. Häxbrygd
9. Två Ormar
10. Fanskapsfylld
11. Midvinterdraken

6th album by Finntroll. It's different from the sound we are used to, but they managed to stay true to themselves. The growling vocals may be pure death/black metal, but that is where the connection with the genre ends. The record is characterized by their usual focus towards stomping rhythms and folk melodies. There's a greater reliance on keyboards and synths than previously.
