Debut album by Sanity's Rage. If only i've listened to it earlier, it would have climbed up to my top thrash albums of 2012. Very nice slightly melodic thrashy riffs with understandable heavy shouted vocals on top. Virile guitar work, pounding and expertly handled drums and a singer that is also definately leaving his mark. Their songwriting is pretty amazing for a debut and they have all the ingredients of a promising group.

First 'ep by Primalfrost, a solo project of Dean Arnold, a kid (i think he is around 16) expressing his love about epic black metal and playing all the instruments and do the programming by himself. 1 intro and 4 tracks, clocking around 30 minutes, of epic, melodic black metal with great folkish moments, but with aggressive moments too.

Debut album by Eugenic Death. The raw energy, the playing style and the production style, all stick true to the old school ways and takes the listener on a nice trip down memory lane. The gruff vocals of Keith serves to make the listen all the more abrasive and aggressive. Audible bass work, varied drum patterns and occasional bursts of raging solo do all they can to further metalize the listener.
