Debut album by The Wolves Of Avalon, a project by mighty Metatron (The Meads Of Asphodel). A great mix of celtic pagan tunes with black metal. The album is dedicated to Quorthon and his influences are obvious. Feeling more like a soundtrack than just 12 individual tracks, the gloomy, dark atmosphere of the album portrays the period around 500 A.D. and the Dark Ages gorgeously and expressively.

Zuul's sound is one of pure, honest and timeless heavy metal, played with full energy at maximum volume. The material is galloping, powerful and packed with great melodies, though there’s no pomp or theatrics. The whole album starts rolling and never stops until the end.

Classic doom metal with influences from '70s progressive rock and heavy metal. It’s all about simple melodic riffing with doom written all over it, but without becoming drony and boring, despite the songs being quite long.

2nd album by S.O.D., 14 years after their legendary debut. The album has slightly too many funny songs and not enough of those brutal songs, that were on their 1st, with politically incorrect debatable hard lyrics. Ironic, desecrating lyrics and speed in music. There’s still plenty of neck-wrecking riffage, slaying thrash and blast beats, muddily distorted bass intros and the same pissed off, drunken goodness that we’ve come to expect from Billy Milano.
