The Ash Eaters - Ruining You

Genre: Exp.Black
Country: U.S.A.
Year: 2012

1. Lightning Strikes
2. No Road Back
3. Give In To Madness
4. Little Lost Girls
5. Ruining You

Debut full length album by The Ash Eaters. The duo, that sent us its material, is playing instrumental, experimental, dissonant black metal. The lack of vocals, sometimes moves their sound to post-punk territories. 5 lengthy songs (over 7 minutes each) that in moments they are melancholic, even depressive and in times , with up tempos, the atmosphere becomes more grimmy.

Axehammer - Marching On

Genre: Heavy/Power
Country: U.S.A.
Year: 2012

1. Walk Into The Fire
2. The Dragons Fly
3. Swing The Steel
4. Midnight Train
5. Fire Away
6. Demon Killer
7. Cemetary
8. Flesh Machine

The 2nd album by Axehammer sees the addition of vocalist Kleber Mandrake, who does a good job trying to reign in the rest of the band. Drawing inspiration from Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, Watt’s driving guitar work very much forms the basis of songs. Honestly, one of the best heavy/power releases for 2012.

7. High On Metal
8. Warfeast (F.B.D)

Debut album by Seax. Totally old school heavy/speed, that will remind you early Iron Maiden. With galloping riffs, high pitched vocals, killer bass lines and a punkish attitude. Catchy as hell with a suitable raw production.
