Debut album by Faithreat. The style of the band combines the finest elements of thrash, hardcore and crossover, bringing to us mind-blowing dynamites. Having a DRI backbone, they seem to have limbs made out of Suicidal Tendencies, Excel and old Slayer influences. The lyrics are simple, sincere, positive on the whole and with something that comes out as an honest worry for this world, nature, wars etc. Amazing!

Debut album by Tankard. It introduced the band's simple but fairly effective formula that has remained pretty much unchanged ever since, lighthearted and rolling, fast thrash metal with most of the lyrics revolving around alcohol and moshing. At this early stage the band's sound was only slightly rough, the album mostly sounds like all the later releases.

Debut album by Running Wild. It is a good mix of heavy and speed metal. It varies nicely between uptempo thrashing and midtempo grooves, sparked with ingeniously composed little solos, mostly short, but sometimes long, and always spot on. They haven't got the pirate style yet.
