Not sure who's "losing" here, but it certainly isn't anyone with ears to hear this lovely longplayerlauncher. Former Vivian Girl Katy Goodman returns May 13 with her third LP as La Sera, following up estimable sophomore effort Sees the Light with Hour of the Dawn. According to La Sera's Hardly Art bandpage, Goodman is "waking up, throwing open the bedroom windows and welcoming the day," hence the lead-off tune, "Losing to the Dark." OK, that's enough analysis, let's just kick back and listen. And while we're at it, check out the two much-loved songs we're reposting from Sees the Light. Wachet auf, people.
