Yes, no sooner do we send you to Still in Rock for a happy glut than wily Frenchman Thibault follows through with another certified winner. We've mentioned a number of times how much we love the music of Matthew Melton, he of Bare Wires, Warm Soda, Pleasers, Snake Flower 2, and wtf knows whom else*** fame. Fortunately Thibault shares our love and just today posted two new ones by MM. You can sample them below and, if you like, pay Still in Rock a visit to download.

Darned excited we are to see Still in Rock leveraging its special arrangement with Matthew Melton of Bare Wires, Warm Soda, Snake Flower 2, and new band, Pleasers, fame. You might have noticed our having Songdropped last week the new Warm Soda single as well as the single from Pleasers, both hosted now at Still in Rock. So thank you, SiR, and of course abundant thanks to the other faithful bloggers hosting songs below. Not sure if you noticed Matthew Melton's excellent new solosong, "Painted Sign," over there in our Songdrop Currents mix, but if you're into any of the Tennessee-to San Fran-to Austin pleaser's other bands - Snake Flower 2, Bare Wires, Warm Soda, or the forthcoming Pleasers - you might wanta check it out. (Click on all those green artist names for further exploration.) A little research at the Southpaw Records SoundCloud page turned up a handful of freebies we're posting below. We might not be evincing sufficient emotion here, but we've been absolutely loving this guy's music for several years now.
