Burning House's Fanclubesque "Peach"

Most of Southampton band Burning House's songs at Bandcamp sound rather shoegazy, but their tags there also include the following: "power pop" and "powerpop." Their just-released juicy little number below proves they aren't kidding. Fans of Teenage Fanclub will most likely agree. So far, all of their songs at Bandcamp are available for name-your-price download, so get ye hence, an ye be willing/able.

We also very much like this Guided by Voices cover (originally authored neither by Mr. Pollard nor by Mr. Sprout, but by Mr. Doug Gillard).

And speaking of Mr. Gillard, we are very glad we bought this one several years ago.

Teenage Fanclub's Second From HERE

Oh, yeah, they def rock.

We liked the first one from long-time faveband Teenage Fanclub's forthcoming LP and LOVE the second, posted below. Here should be here on 9sep16. Till then we float on thin air.

And while we're at it, how could we not repost our all-time favorite by TFC? Right: no way. This one drives us wild with pleasure.

But the people did chafe and itch with an itch that knew no scratch and did say, "Dude, keep writing intros such as this and we will no longer visit your blog." And so, chastened and mortified and himself feeling, albeit slightly, the lash of itch, the dude wrote no further intros such as this and played gaily with the anchovies and orangutans and breakfast cereals prior to feasting thereon.
