Relictors Chapter Space Marines - Primaris Lieutenant w/ Power Fist

Hello All, thanks for dropping by. Another Primaris reinforcement for my Relictors Chapter Space Marines, another Primaris Lieutenant... yes I know, feed the meme, moar Lieutenants!

I didn't quite like the Powerfist this one came with, so I swapped it for a relic Forge World resin one, and head swapped to a 3rd Party crested helm with laurels.

Here are the four so far, in true meme style I have more Lieutenants to do. The others already completed can be found here: Lt with Power Sword; Lt with Assault Bolt Rifle; and Lt Amulius

Deathwatch Marines - Reivers and more Characters - Done!

Hello all,

A crazy few weeks, but have got several bits complete to add to the growing Deathwatch force. I've got done, a Captain, a Lieutenant, 5 Reivers and a DKK Siege Drill

Captain

I've completed a Deathwatch firstborn Captain with a Jump pack, armed with a Thunder Hammer and Shield, The perfect combo for full assault tactics! The Marine is from the Sons Of Medusa Chapter.

Lieutenant

This marine has been sitting in the pile of shame for some time - this was a Games Day I picked up years ago, based on the cover art for 2nd Ed (I believe..) I've converted the Left arm so that he now has the DW symbol on his pauldron. The model has been painted with the normal DW scheme, with touches of the original art - the flame patterns and Yellow Bolter!

5 Reivers

These guys have had parts from other minis added, and then used the same style of 'camo' as my Eliminator squad- with the Tau inspired camo phasing from camo to armour. Really happy with how these guys look. I am really happy with the Serg' who appears to be going 'SShhhhhh...' to his next victim.. very Ork Kommando-style!

Death Korps of Krieg Siege Drill

It was with the Krieg stuff years ago and I believe bought at a Games Day some 15 years ago.. I've opted for a DW style scheme for this - I can image the DW using it to penetrate a Necron tomb, or other Xeno threat!

Deathwatch Characters - Done!

 Another week, another group of characters to add to my growing Deathwatch force,

This time we have a Captain, from the Blood Angels, a Chaplain from the Angels Vermillion, and a Lieutenant from the Blood Swords Chapters.

Lieutenant

The Lieutentant was build using a combination of parts from the sternguard kit. The model was painted as per my other Deathwatch, with the details picked out. I opted for this marine to be a Lieutenant simly down to having a good mix of wargear to be good equally at the front of the line, or directing from the rear, with supporting fire.

Chaplain

I used the plastic Chaplain which I purchased some time ago. The helmet was used so that the bare head could be used on another model.Really happy with the skull helm, and tones from the blue glowing eyes.

Captian

SMASH! finally, the Blood Angels Captian, using the jump pack Chaplain as a base, I converted the right arm to have a Thunder, and the left arm was swapped to have him holding a storm shield. The Thunder hammer was painted in a 'buring elements' style, from red up to a yellow highlight. happy with the results! The details over the armour were picked out in Purple to appear different to the other jump pack chaplain model.

Deathwatch Lieutenant from the Rainbow Warriors - Done

 Hello All!

Another week past, another model complete! This time is the humble Lieutenant hailing from the Rainbow Warriors Chapter.

This was a kit bash with several parts added the model, with a slight conversion of the left arm to have the gun pointing from a straight arm - the gun was cut away from the original arm with the arm bent, and the strap removed (purity seal to hide the sins of the chop) and then added to the arm thats out straight. The head is from the Hellblasters kit. Again I used a resin base as per all my Deathwatch marines.

The scheme follows the same with all Deathwatch, metallic black and a deep red for the weapons. The helmet on his waist has had the lieutenant White/Red stripe added.

I also added a dash of colour to the left knee to denote links to the rainbow warriors based on old imaging found online and from index astartes. I did try to free hand the symbol.. not the greatest at all, however I am happy with it. I also added the word 'Rainbow' to the right shoulder pauldron.

Relictors Chapter Space Marines - Primaris Lieutenant #3 - w/ Power Sword

Hello All, thanks for dropping by, continuing my Primaris Lieutentants, the second one from Dark Imperium is completed, armed with Power Sword and Heavy Bolt Pistol, he sensibly wears his helmet! This makes 3 Lieutentants so far... I have some way to go haha

I again added a icon to the Power Pack to mark him out as a Character on the battlefield, this one was from the old Terminators kit.

The Power Sword was done using Kantor Blue, Sotek Green and Temple Guard Blue, whilst the skull icon above I used a blue wash which worked out really well. The leather was Mournfang / Nuln / Balor Brown and looks great.

Grass tufts was 'burnt grass' from Gamers Grass.

He he is with his Brother Lieutenant from Dark Imperium

And all the Primaris Lieutentants so far... Lt Amulius on the right, a limited edition release.

Relictors Chapter Space Marines - Primaris Lieutenant #2 - w/ Auto Bolt Rifle

Hello all, thanks for dropping by, yes, yes, another Primaris Lieutenant... this one is from the Dark Imperium original release, and probably my favourite. He looks grizzled and oozes character. The Auto-Bolt Rifle means he can also be useful whilst sitting at the back encouraging the troops.

I added a gold icon to the power pack to match Lt Amulius from earlier, its a nice way to mark them out as Characters in a sea of grey power armour, okay not so great if you worry about snipers, but hey, this is 40K, its nice to give the quite vanilla Primaris some grim-dark character. I used the official Lieutenant shoulder markings, to keep with my conformist theme for the Relictors recent Primaris reinforcements - got to keep Roboute Guilliman on side...

The leather is Mournfang Brown, washed Nuln and highlighted Balor Brown. The rock was some left over green stuff from elsewhere, nothing is wasted :)

And of course, a special mention to the Commission Artist Kooperkape I got chatting to over on Reddit who kindly agreed to use my heads as practice, and a great job he did too! Far better than I could have achieved and really makes this character characterful! The rest of the paintjob is neat and tidy, but what draws you in is the face and shaved hair - brilliant job.

Deathwatch - Primaris 'Lieutenants' Characters

Hello one and all!

Further additions to my growing Deathwatch force, this time in the form of several Primaris Lieutenants.

I really liked the look of the Dark Angels Zakariah, and Blood Angels Tolmeron models, and really wanted to add these into the Primaris force to add a chapter character feel to the force. After getting these, the Space Wolves lieutenant was released,  and again I saw the potential to add  him as well!

All have had the shoulder pauldrons swapped to have the Deathwatch left pad, and a chapter symbol on the right. Zakariah has had a weapon swap, using the pointed finger from the Primaris sprue, with the over the shoulder Bolt Rifle added to complete the look.

These have been painted up in the same style as the other Primaris in the force.

 

I have also kit bashed the 2 Lieutenants that come with the Dark Imperium box set, both are now armed with Plasma Incinerators as I had loads spare, and wanted to try something different! Pretty happy with how these guys are shaping up, I am toying with getting a epic scale captain to add to the wrist communication system on the second Lieutenant to appear as a hologram projection.
