Deathwatch - Characters - WIP

Hello All!

Just a quick WIP of some Deathwatch Characters that I'm working on after the completion of the Jump Pack Captain.

These 3 have had the Deathwatch Shoulder Pauldron added to make them as part of the Watch force, with similar schemes as per my normal recipe. Hopefully can get more of these done in the coming weeks.
Ultramarine Captain of the deathwatch
Deathwatch Captain
Space Wolves Captain

Deathwatch Captain with Jump Pack - DONE!

Hello All,

This week's offering is a Deathwatch Captain with Jump Pack. The model has had magnets added to allow hot swapping of his wargear. Moreover, the same smoke stack base has been used to allow the model to appear 'floating' on the tabletop.

The model was painted with the same style as the others, with details picked up again to match the growing force.
Power Fist and Bolter. Modelled with a skull head, I think its befitting of a CC monster!
Power Sword and Plasma Pistol - point to the enemy!
Chainsword and Flamer - I really like the Primaris head on this model, I've angled the helmet with the magnet slightly so that he is looking upwards

And I had to chuck him into the AI tool..

Thanks for swinging by! LH (11pts - additional 1 for extra heads and arms)

WIP - Deathwatch Captain with Jump Pack

Hello all,

This weeks offering is a couple of WIP pics of my Deathwatch Captain, with Jump pack. This model has been magnetised to allow hot swap of all the weapons on the sprue, and head options. Moreover, there is a 3D printed smoke stack, rather than the silly flimsy flying bases.
The model has had the same scheme as per my Deathwatch, with the jump pack having additional flashes of red to the vents. There is also an addition of a Primaris Relictor Helmet to the base.. what happened to the marine in question is a mystery.

Thanks for stopping by. LH

WIP Friday - Deathwatch

 Hi All,

A quick WIP post, I'm currently working on a Deathwatach Lieutenant, as well as built together a second one that I've printed myself. The Lieutenant has had the power weapon switched with a spare Necron weapon, akin to those used on other Deathwatch members.

The printed Lieutenant is armed with blades and a combi-weapon.

WIP - Deathwatch Assault Marines and Jump Captain

Hello!

Quick post, just some little WIP shots of some of my assault Deathwatch, and Jump Pack Captain. These guys have self printed smoke stacks, I'm not using the silly flimsy clear flying stands - these are slightly higher, but not too much to be called 'gamey' :)
Normal Deathwatch scheme, hopefully can get these done in the next week!

Cheers! LH

Something big for 2026....

Hello one and All! Happy New Year!

Soooo.. to start of the year, I thought I'd share a few images of one of my projects for the year.. something BIG!!
Moreover, I plan to be more active this year after a crazy 2025 with different jobs, life etc. taking away vital hobby time. For me, this year I want to try to complete the 2 (3) Titans I've got prepared to build, and have them ready at some point this year. I also want to get my AT force started/finished, I've got the bodies done, but that is it so far.

I am also looking to try to finish projects, there are 18 Imperial Knights that are complete, bar Decals - Siph keeps on ribbing me that I need to finish them, so I plan to get these done this year. (Yes I do - Siph)

I also feel the time is right to go back to my Ultramarines, and try to add new units to them, and look to complete the full 1st and 2nd Companies with a mix of Firstborn and Primaris, as well as adding to the Deathwatch force.

Along with this, I've got a Bambu P1S 3D Printer waiting to be set up, thus hopefully can get on and print more terrain, first up will be some war trains that I pledged to a while ago!

I do intend to post weekly again - Sorry Siph for the poor showing on my side.. thanks for keeping the lights on! (No worries mate! - Siph)

Tyberos the Red Wake - Deathwatch Terminator Captain - DONE!

Hello one and all, thanks for swinging by! For review this week is a partially 3D printed conversion using the Forge World Tyberos the Red Wake model.
Reaper Lord of the Void, is the Chapter Master or "Shade Lord" of the Carcharodons Chapter of Space Marines and Ship's Master of the fabled battle barge 'Nicor'. He also serves simultaneously as Company Master of the Carcharodons' elite 1st Company, better known as the "Red Brethren".
I've got the OG FW version, but for me, wasn't tall enough, even back when released - this one utilities a much taller base, with then the additions of the arms and top chest/head of the OG. I've also added green stuff, and a larger cape.
The model was finished in the same style of the Deathwatch, with a metallic base. This one has had plenty of blood added to the arms and claws.
The base is also 3D printed, with a dead Primaris Space Marine on it.

Primaris Deathwatch Desolators - Done!

 Hello one and all!

This weeks offering to the Hive is 10 Deathwatch Primaris Space Marine Desolators. These guys have been altered, from the Nerf gun welding marines, to something more stylish in my eyes.

I had thought of moving the main missile weapons to the backpack, however the rules impled that the smaller rockets could fired at any target - even unseen, so for me these had to be moved from the gun, as it made no sense to have a marine pointing a gun at a target it can't see.

Thus, the conversion happened. I used the HH Heavy bolter as a base, chopped it up to be the rear section, then added the cut back missile pods. The smaller rocket pod was then attached to the target sensor on the backpack.

The marines were painted as per the normal Deathwatch style, and on resin bases. These guys look the part for me! LH (10pts)

Deathwatch Primaris Captains - Done!

Hello one and all.. I'm still here!

This weeks offering is 2 Primaris Captains for my Deathwatch force.

First Captain, this captain - from the Brotherhood of a Thousand chapter is the standard Gravis captain, with a space wolves head swap. The armour has been painted as per other Deathwatch forces, with the addition of a purple power sword.
Up next, is Captain 2.. Similar to some of my Deathwatch force, the Captain has had the Power Sword swapped with one of the Necron power weapons, I like the idea of the Deathwatch accessing enemies weapons to fight them.. This model also has had the addition of a 3D printed 'Skywalker' head.

Overall, happy with the look of these two.

Deathwatch Space Marines - More Captains! Done!

Hello one and all!

Sorry for the lack of posts on my side, its been a busy few weeks, however there are big updates soon!

This weeks offerings are two Deathwatch Captains, these are 'home made' and are taken from a well known 3D printing site.

Centurion Captain

This guy I had to have the moment I saw the file, the model was flipped so the shoulder pauldrons were correct. I've painted the same style as my other Deathwatch, the model is armed with a chain blade and flamer, in game this could be a Terminator captain, or house rules. The model had a back pack added to finish.

Gravis Captain

This guy is a 'hit!' I wanted to have models that look imposing on the battle, and this guy does for sure! He has had his left arm mirrored from the right, with some purity seals added. I've also added a skull helm which was purchased from an auction site prior to me getting my printer. Again, finished off with the same scheme as the DW.

Thanks for swinging by! LH (20pts)

Deathwatch - Primaris Intercessor Squad - Done!

Hello one and all!

This week's offering is a five man, Primaris Intercessor squad - these are 3D printed models from a well known site, with plastic arms, weapons and head added.

I've opted to have all 5 as Dark Angels, weird yes, but I always like the old lore about Dark Angels looking for the fallen - not a thing now, and that they were part of the Deathwatch, however they were really hunting for their prey.

The scheme is as per my normal style, these guys have more chains which have been picked out in metal, so they have a darker appearance.

The bases are again from a well known site, 'tactical rocks for all'

Pretty happy with how these turned out! LH (5pts)

Deathwatch Infiltrators and Incursors - DONE!

 Hello one and all,

Another week - another offering of Deathwatch goodies!

This week is a 10 man, Infiltrator/Incursor squad, designed to work with my othe Phobos armoured marines in a 'Tau' inspired Camo scheme.

I like the idea of the Deathwatch force utilising all tools they can get their hands on- in this case a Mech has located details for how to 'cloak' armour, those the scheme is phasing into a camo style, however I wanted it to look more cloaked , than camo thus the armour colour is dictated by what the boots are touching - if they are on a tactical rock, the boots and lower legs a grey into browns, if the boot is on the ground, the scheme will match. The phasing is done with dark to light blues, washed with a blue, then a white line for the top of the phase.

I really like how these guys look as a group. LH (10pts)
