Legio Astorum Warlord Titan - New Armament - Conversion Beam Extirpator

Hello all, thanks for dropping by. I've added a more esoteric weapon to the Warlord arsenal, not available from Forge World but a model exists in Adeptus Titanicus so there are rules and a look to the weapon.
Here is a 3D print sliced from several other prints and put together by Lord TITANium.
I painted in sub assemblies and added a few more details as the main body seemed too plain and had overly large rivets - scaled from a smaller weapon I guess.
The las power packs, barrel from a AdMech Dunewalker, various gubbins and hoses were added.
I even added two sensor optics akin to the optics on other warlord weapons, one can be sen at the base of the barrel section.
For comparison of other weapons available for the Forge World titan range. Shorter but stubby.
Looks good on a Warlord
I'll look forward to using it at 'Maximal Power', with Draining at long range - even higher strength of attack than a Belicosa! Should be a nice fun addition to the force at the next Titan Walk event.

Cheers, Siph (10pts)

Warlord Psi-Titan - Polaris-Albedelach of the Ordo Sinister - Done!

Hello one and all,

This offering to the hivemind is something a little different, a completed Forgeworld Warlord Titan, however the Emperor has blessed this Titan, and has upgraded it to a Psi-Titan! For this, I have 3D printed the Psi parts, and different armour plates to make this Titan stand out. I have also added LED's to add to the overall look of the Psi-Titan.
The Psi-Titan is also stood a 3D printed Warmaster Titan carapace, which was painted in a Mortis scheme.
The plates have been painted with colour-shift paint from GreenStuffWorld, these shift from Purple to Green. The endoskeleton of the Titan was based with Leadbelcher spray, and then a coat of a 'smoke' wash to add depth. The brass was painted up from a base gold, with washes and highlights to produce the Brass colour.
At Titan Owners Club Main Walk 2024
The Titan is armed with carapace Apocalypse missile Launchers, and then options for either a Conversion-Beamer or a Close Combat weapon - both 3D printed as Forge World lack offerings. The 'Pizza cutter; weapon also has a Vulcan Mega bolter as per the fist rules adapted for Titan Owners Club events (otherwise CC Titans die before doing anything constructive - which is not fun for Princeps!)
Really happy with the finish, the Titan will eventually get a a groin honours banner, as well as a couple of kill markers added from the last ToC Walk.

Thanks for stopping by! LH (75pts plus 10pts for extra weapon)

Lord TITANium - Warlord Titan #2 - Psi-Titan WIP

Hello one and all!

Up this week for your viewing is my next Warlord Titan, however I'm pushing the boat out and going all in for a PSI TITAN at 28mm scale. For this, I will be doing bespoke 3D printed parts for the Titan, including armour plates, weapons and psi-matrix crown, as FW/GW do not support 28mm Titans fully.

The build was ok, with the model pinned in all the places possible to help support the model. I have printed a portion of a 28mm printed Warmaster carapace for the Titan to be standing on.

I've opted for a colourshift paint for the armour panels, using a matt black base, then a gloss, then several passes with the colourshift. The plates will also have silver trim, which I think will fit better than a gold scheme.

So far the model has Apoc Missiles for the carapace, but I might also print some Gatling Blasters if the Titan is to be used 'more upclose'

I've also printed a Heavy Volkite and a C-Beamer for the model, as well as a CC option.. more to follow soon.

Legio Astorum - Forge World Warlord 'Ex-Noctia' - Belicosa Volcano Cannons - COMPLETED

Hello Titanseers, thanks for dropping by, I have completed the Belicosa Volcano Cannons from last week, now Warlord "Ex-Noctia" has some long range power to accompany the Arioch Power Fists it was delivered with.
Ex-Noctia's stance is fairly static so some long range fire-support suits the pose. The red preserved stripes on the Belicosa fits in with the titan scheme nicely.
The heraldry scheme is mirrored on both shields, but the cannon stripe I preserved some skull decals on one cannon, the other cannon I added an Astorum Halo sigil.
The Heraldic Shields are magnetised, no reason other than the previous owner had done this.

Legio Astorum - Forge World Warlord 'Ex-Noctia' - New Main Armaments - Belicosa Volcano Cannons - WIP

Hello Titanseers, thanks for dropping by. When I purchased Warlord No.10, Ex-Noctia, unfortunately the Belicosa Volcano cannons were missing but after some detective work from the Princeps at Titan Owners Club, we managed to track them down with the new owner of a Reaver Titan also sold at the same time. A lovely chap, we managed to get them sent back to me and finally after his house move and me absent at sea with work - I was re-united with them and got to work making them fit Legio Astorum livery and the other Astorum Warlords of the Emperor's Halo Maniple so they can be interchangeable.

Here you can see the Astorum decals so far, I'm utilising the Atarus decal with the laurel and the Titanicus "T", but the Forge World symbol was swapped out for a Lucius one (was possibly Forge World Phaeton or their new fledgling Forge World of Atar-Median).
Here they were in the original Atarus scheme, it's a shame I had to overpaint the Atarus decals, but I preserved one panel and a red stripe or two similar to Ex-Noctia to honour the previous livery and machine spirit! I will add magnets to the joints so I can swap between titans too.

Cheers, Siph

Legio Astorum - Forge World Warlord 'Dominus Victoria' - New Carapace Apocalypse Missile Launchers

Welcome Titanseers, and all, thanks for dropping by. I have now added some additional weapon options for Dominus Victoria, or any of my Warlords. I now have the option to swap out the Laser Blasters for some Apocalypse Missile Launchers for longer ranged firepower if desired.
The missile launchers took the same colour patterns as the previous Warlord "Ex-Noctia" with white missiles and black rear armour panels.
I added some OOP Legio Astorum decals from the Forge World sheet, I still have some for the next few Titan builds which is great considering the price they now go for is about x10 the RRP...
I tried out some new white paint pens I got from Amazon for trying my hand at some star maps type motifs, these took one take and look great, the paint pen worked great. I traced around a few plastic lids and along the edge of some masking tape to achieve the lines. Tricky but worth it. I'm already planning using these more on Warlord number 4.
As usual the trim was Vallejo Brass and washed Reikland Fleshshade.
Dominus Victoria Walks with new-ish armaments of Mori-Quake Cannon and the latest Apocalypse Missile Launchers
Rather nice indeed...
And here with the selection of the options I now have for my Warlords, all are magnetised and interchangeable between all Warlords.

Legio Astorum Warlord Titan #4 - Forge World No. 258 - Raptor Astra - COMPLETED

Warlord Titan "Raptor Astra" Walks!

Welcome Titanseers, thanks for dropping by. I have finished the Rites of Colour of my 4th Warlord, "Fourth you say? But we've only seen two so far?!" Yes, indeed but this has been completed well ahead of my 2nd I started but which is still in it's box with the exception of one arm weapon and it's proud Lucius Head. And my 3rd Warlord came unexpectantly when Warlord No.10 came up for sale and I had to have it - I already have FW Mars Warhound No.10 and FW Reaver No.10, so had to purchase FW Warlord No.10... ;) and yes I am still on the prowl for Warbringer No.10 and ancient Lucius Warhound No.10 if anyone see's them for sale!

But, here is "Raptor Astra" (Star Chaser) of Legio Astorum. Warlord No.258 from Forge World.
Warlord No.258 came up for sale at a great price and was already built and painted to an excellent standard. Seen HERE. But the blue was slightly different from my own Astorum Blue (Kantor Blue) so I have steadily been undergoing the Rites of Colour for the armour panels (re-painting).
The mighty Sunfury Plasma Annihilator ready to unleash a caged sun to incinerate the enemies of the Emperor and Omnissiah.
At the rear you can see the preserved yellow Pauldron armour plates from Alan G's scheme. Whilst I repainted the trim, I preserved these two panels - the front panels however where re-painted blue as I like  my Astorum Titans to be mainly blue with just yellow accents and Heads (of course). The Princeps is quietly having a break on the rear boarding platform...
Maybe a Tabac smoker or grabbing some fresh air/smell of burnt enemies?
The rear of the banner, designed and printed by Drake Seta (Battle Bunnies blog) and Titan Owners Club.
I added some Knight House Malinax debris from the latest vanquished foe on the base.
The head was swapped out from Alan G's original as the Mars Alpha head is not my favourite and Warlord "Ex-Noctia" No.10 already has that style. So I bought a Mars-Beta available from Warhammer World, and painted that up.
The Heraldic Shields used the now OOP Legio Astorum Titan decals from Forgeworld, luckily I have some saved, for this project and several other Titans in the to-do pile! The yellow stripes on the chest armour echo the design on "Dominus Victoria" and "Ex-Noctia", their's being white and red stripes respectively. I went with yellow as the original paint scheme had large yellow Pauldrons up top, now re-painted blue, but an accent remains as well as the rear facing armour panels.
The black sun eclipse motif of Legio Astorum, from the FW decals and extended by overpainting to the edge. These are designed for the Shoulder pads.
Legio Astorum often adorn the Titans with star maps to show the battle honours, depicting previous battles and conquests.
I preserved the head cowling armour in the black and white scheme, a nice nod to the previous owner and scheme before that (once was painted Mortis and then stripped) but also a nice nod to their closest allied Titan Legio, Legio Crucius of Lord TITANium Halfpenny's.
Here is "Raptor Astra" leading the charge alongside "Dominus Victoria" (L) and "Ex-Noctia" (R). The spearhead of Legio Astorum's "Emperor's Halo" Maniple.
This is the other armament already completed for my Warlords, a Arioch Power Claw with in-built Vulcan Mega Bolter array.
And if you wondered how these get transported to events, you can see the magnetised parts and spare weapon option. All interchangeable between all the Warlords I have. The waist is also magnetised which means a much easier transportation broken down into bubble-wrapped pieces. Thanks to Alan G. for selling me the titan and doing a superb job on the construction and metallics of the superstructure.

A useful link to my Warlord Titan Construction process can be found HERE.

Warlord Raptor Astra will Walk alongside the Titan Owners Club UK at the London ExCel Centre event Salute 51 by the South London Warlords, where she will be battling Traitor and Xenos Titans! Remember to register your own Titans at Titan Owners Club (TOC), and if you want some cool Titan Owners Club merchandise TOC have a Spreadshirt Shop, any profits go to buying Titan sized terrain for future Walks for all members to enjoy :)
