This recent MB release reminds me a little bit of his late-90s/early-00s return releases; there is a more ambient/synthy side, less dark but more ascending and slightly new-agey, but not in a cheesy way. Cool. 2018 2 X CDr on BeTon.

N. / Depletion – Today I Feel Drained cdr
Italian N. sets off very interestingly with soulless synth noise akin to Maurizio Bianchi and Atrax Morgue. It sounds very damaged and nihilistic, inducing you to just stare at the ceiling. The great Depletion of Martyn Reid (Vampyres) continues with three amazing tracks of heavy synth noise of similar influences, for people who want to commit suicide by swallowing a bucket of wet concrete. 2017 cdr on BeTon.
