The second card I cut it out with a Spellbinders circle die and then embossed it using the squishy pad. While it was still in the die I inked the inside with distress ink. I added some definition to the seashells using a couple of watercolor markers. The die cut under the seashells is an old wallpaper sample. Thanks for looking. HAGD!

Manly Monday Turtle Card
This card started with this cute turtle die cut that was a gift from a seller on Mercari. I made the background with distress ink and a piece of paper as a mask. The green frame was a negative to a rectangle. The paper is by Color Aid. The picture shows what a mess it is underneath. I had to die cut some waves to put on top of the green frame.
The dark blue waves are the negative K and Co paper which you can see in the picture on the right. It’s a beach/travel scallop shaped paper and I’ve used the side where you tear the paper off of the pad as waves. Thanks for stopping by and have a great rest of your week.

November Calendar Layout The Last Supper
I started with brown patterned paper by Creative Memories and then added the Making Memories floral paper on top. The teal paper is unknown. The leaves are stickers. The title Grateful by K and Co. is a sticker on top of a Spellbinders die that I inked the inside before taking it out of the die. The flower in the brown square (by K and Co. too) is a sticker layered on top of teal square punch and a bigger brown square punches by Creative Memories. Thanks for looking.

Lately, I haven't been thrilled with my blog. It feels like a mess. There aren't enough hours in the day to fix 3971 blog posts. I was hoping that the background change would get the fonts the same size. Nope! It didn't work. So, there are two options
1.) Continue pondering over it and wasting time re-doing every post since 2009.
2.)Stop worrying about it. Each day 15 people come to my blog.
I blog so my projects are all in one place. I like to look back at the cards and layouts I did in 2011. In fact, I started with didn't make cards at first. It was mostly scrapbooking and I have a lot of scrapbooking things to post. Off of my computer onto my blog. I will finish up with one of my quotes...

May Calendar Layout. Christmas photo
Hi from rainy Michigan. The last two days gave us some great sunshine. Still chilly but being in the sun was nice. The May layout comes from my brother’s calendar. You can’t tell but this picture was taken at Christmas. The patterned paper is either by Echo Park or Little Yellow Bicycle. The blue border paper is from Deja Views and the punch is by Fiskars. The other border punch is by Martha Stewart out of white cardstock. The butterfly and flower die cuts are from K and Co. Thanks for looking.

Easter Cards in Different shades of Greens
The patterned papers are old and by Provo Craft and K and Co. The top card uses that same embossing folder that I've used all week. The center embossed area works well with any cross. That cross is by Spellbinders and I inked the paper before I removed it from the die.
The second card, the cross is a stamp that I heat embossed with silver embossing powder. That square patterned paper has been stamped with a clear background stamp again very old. Thanks for looking

Manly Monday Pocket watch birthday cards
Pocket watch die cut is by K and Co. The background stamp in the1st card is Camouflage stamp by Deep Red Stamps. I made the frame around the pocket watch by using the frame inPhotographer stamp set by Deep Red stamps.I stamped it one way and then I turned it to stamp it down the other way creating this double frame. I made this frame 3 or more years ago and it sat it the drawer. This is like the year of the use stuff put in a drawer. Thank you for looking.

Hmmm...I'm not sure that I have a favorite. Do you?
They were all colored with Copic markers.
The first card uses very primary colors. (PP by Sunborn)
In the second card, the green is muted, as if it were aged. (PP by K and Co and the rub-on border is by American Crafts))
The third card is bright with a yellow hue to it. (PP from stash. Green from Michael's. Rick Rack from my stash)
