Summer Flowers

It's still officially Summer

My rose bushes give up their blooms reluctantly.

Sweet Peas for late Summer evenings.

Morning Glories add just the right contrast.

Wishing you a great week.

Mon Bouquet du Jour

It's a Jungle out there.
A jungle Bouquet.

Grapes and Morning Glories fight for attention.
There's no room to walk past.

Morning Glories are winning.

I will be painting.
Glaze is applied next, pencil sketch lines disappear during firing.  Will fire to 1790 degrees Fahrenheit.

Glaze and powder pigments fuse during 24 hour firing schedule.

You won't see much of me next week.
I will be painting and painting for the Artist Studio Tour.

Have a beautiful weekend and a wonderful week my dear
Blogging Friends.

Rosemary likes Morning Glories

So do we.

Especially the Dwarf Morning Glory (Convolvulus, Ensign mixed)) seen on the right.  Perfect for ground covers and containers.  Available in pinks, reds and blues from Thompson and Morgan.

The Morning Glory we don't like is pictured in the top right and lower left.  It is the ordinary morning glory, also known as bindweed,  despised by everyone because if left unchecked will choke out even grass and has no problem growing through cement.

But we like Rosemary's Morning Glory.

And have a look at Rosemary's Dracunulus Vulgaris plant blooming.  Rosemary promises that it only smells terrible for 24 hours.

Happy weekend my dear Blogging Friends.
