Batman: Gotham Knight is a DC Universe two-disc dvd set that I picked up at the local Dollar Tree a few weeks ago. Kevin Conroy is the voice of Batman in all six segments. I was surprised by the appearances of Killer Croc and Deadshot. This direct-to-dvd animated movie was released in 2008 and has a mostly anime feel to it. I did like the four episodes of Batman: The Animated Series but I have yet to watch the Batman and Me: The Bob Kane Story documentary.

Fall Catchup
Today is the first full day of fall so I thought I better do some catching up.
First off, I will be partaking in this year's Countdown To Halloween. I'm not sure if I will be making daily posts this time around but I will try. Also, the posts may be of a little different this year.
The local Wally World has stocked a few boxes of DC Pops figurines from Funko and I have picked up eight of them. So far, I have two Deadshots, a Lex Luthor, a Martian Manhunter, a Batman, a Green Lantern, a White Lantern and a Power Girl. I like them and I will probably be picking up some more when I can. I really want the Wonder Woman one.

First Official Suicide Squad Look from Comic Con
Here's the first official look of the Suicide Squad movie from Comic Con with some interesting scenes featuring Amanda Waller, Harley Quinn, the Joker, El Diablo, Rick Flagg, Captain Boomerang and Killer Croc (yes, even Batman makes an appearance):

Suicide Squad Movie Cast In Costume
Here's the cast from Suicide Squad movie minus the Joker from 'Suicide Squad' suits up for the first costumed cast photo:
From left to right, the lineup shows Adam Beach as Slipknot, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Karen Fukuhara down in front as Katana, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc and Jay Hernandez as El Diablo.
The only ones I'm really interested at this moment are Enchantress and Katana. I'm sort of interested in Harley Quinn but I'm not digging this version of her so far.

New 52 DC Comics Trading Cards Pack
I went on a road trip yesterday and picked up a few items. I didn't get any comics but I did find the only pack of New 52 DC Comics trading cards at Hastings. The price for five cards was $4.99 and was originally released in 2012. Normally, I wouldn't have picked them up for that price but I figured it was the last one so why not.
First up is the front and back of the wrapper. I opened it up at the bottom while I waited at the clinic and I had a little trouble with it:

Next up is card #6, which is Batgirl:

Next up is card #16, which is Deadshot:

I'm not familiar with Dollmaker, who is on card #18, other than he is a bat-villain and that his father supposedly was the twisted doctor on Gotham:

Vixen is on card #58, which makes two women in this pack much to my delight:

Finally, I was surprised to find a chase card in the form of work in progress (WIP) #7, which is Aquaman. Basically, it's a lenticular card that shows the artwork from sketch to fully colored.

Would I buy more packs? Yes, providing I had the money for it since they are basically a dollar a card (more after you figure in the tax).

Official Suicide Squad Movie Line Up
According to this Blastr article, the official line up for the live action Suicide Squad movie has been cast with Will Smith as Deadshot, Tom Hardy as Rick Flag, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney as Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress and Jared Leto as the Joker. I'm not really sure why we need this movie when there are still so many other characters from DC Comics that I would rather see on the big screen.
