Titans Tuesday: Titans #29 and #30

Titans #29 from DC Comics is DC K.O. tie-in. The cover features Starfire, Beast Boy aka Changling (or whatever he is calling himself now), Nightwing, Amethyst and Raven. Here is the official summary:

"The Towers have lifted, and Earth’s evacuation is complete! As the Titans take to the stars to save humanity from the oncoming apocalypse, trouble can’t help but follow them! Our heroes are scattered across the galaxy — and across dimensions — each discovering that new worlds mean new dangers, something Starfire knows all too well as she ends up cornered by an Apokoliptian blockade!"

Titans #30 is also a DC K.O. tie-in with the cover focusing on Cyborg vs Swamp Thing:

Imaginext DC Super Friends Series 1 Swamp Thing

I picked up three more Imaginext DC Super Friends Series 1 mystery bags on Tuesday. Naturally, I got Bane again so I'm thinking he's probably pretty common. I did luck out and found a Imaginext DC Super Friends Series 1 Swamp Thing action figure. His entire legs glow in the dark along with most of his arms and torso. Hard to see in the below photo but he has red eyes. His accessory is a brown vine staff that I had some trouble putting in his hand.

Imaginext DC Super Friends Series 1 Wrapper and Insert

I picked up three Imaginext DC Super Friends Series 1 mystery bags on Tuesday at the local Walmart's. Each package was $4.72, and they only had less than a dozen left. I didn't even see these before so I'm not exactly sure when they were stocked but the insert has a 2023 copyright date. Each action figure comes with an accessory.

The wrapper shows Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman in the lower left-hand corner. I'm only showing the front of the wrapper because the back is too shiny for my scanner to pick up the small print.

The outer side of the insert also shows Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman along with a gorilla with a battle axe, a female Troll and dinosaurs.

The inner side of the insert is the checklist for all nine action figures in the Imaginext DC Super Friends Series 1 set. The set includes Swamp Thing, Bane, Man-Bat, Batman, Martian Manhunter, Superboy Prime, Bizarro, Aquaman and Blue Beetle. Swamp Thing and Bane as glow in the dark features. Notice that there is a Batman action figure but no Superman and Wonder Woman figures.

Countdown to Halloween 2020 Day 6: DC Swamp Thing Premieres Tonight on The CW

If you missed watching last year's live action Swamp Thing tv series on the DC Universe like I did (I don't do streaming services especially if you have to pay for them because I'm a poor fanboy), then you are in luck because all ten episodes will be appearing on The CW starting tonight. I have read nothing but good reviews so I will be watching. Yes, Adrienne Barbeau appears on the show but as Dr. Palomar, the assistant director of the CDC (you may remember her as Alice Cable in the 1982 movie version of Swamp Thing).
