Marvel Winter Break Special #1 was released this week. The cover features Deadpool, Nightcrawler, Rogue, Storm and Emma Frost aka White Queen. The story is titled "Walkin' in a Winter Savage Land" and there are several pinups featuring superheroes and superheroines mostly out of their costumes. Here is the official summary:

Marvel/DC: Deadpool/Batman #1

The next generation of Marvel/DC Comics crossover is now on the newsstands. Deadpool/Batman #1 was released this past Wednesday. There are at least four different covers but I'm only showing the most common one below. Here is the official summary:

"The crossover you’ve pined for but never thought possible: DEADPOOL and BATMAN cross swords and batarangs as MARVEL and DC unite for the first time in decades! WADE WILSON has been hired for a job in GOTHAM CITY, but will the WORLD’S GREATEST DETECTIVE help him or destroy him? The main story starring Deadpool and Batman will be written by Zeb Wells and drawn by industry superstar Greg Capullo. The one-shot will also feature additional backup stories spotlighting other exciting Marvel and DC team-ups from a lineup of all-star talent, including Daredevil and GREEN ARROW by Kevin Smith and Adam Kubert, Captain America and Wonder Woman by Chip Zdarsky and Terry Dodson, and Jeff the Land Shark and Krypto by Kelly Thompson and Gurihiru."

T-shirt Tuesday: Believe in Yourself Deadpool T-shirt

I usually do T-shirt Thursdays, but I couldn't wait to show off one of my finds yesterday (I could have done a Marvel Monday, but I digress). The local Walmart's has a bunch of t-shirts on sale for two dollars. The Believe in Yourself Deadpool t-shirt was originally $8.98. I would have gotten two, but they only had one in XXL. I guess you could say that this is belated birthday and Valentine's Day present to myself.

Countdown to Halloween 2021 Day 4: Marvel Zombies Mystery Minis Funko Pop Box

I picked up three boxes of Marvel Zombies Mystery Minis Funko Pops on a road trip a few months ago. I found them at a Walmart Super Center store and they only had a few left. These bobble heads were originally released in 2020 and I was surprised that I found them. The front of the box shows the Marvel Zombies version of Wolverine, the Hulk and Deadpool while the right side shows Phoenix, Wolverine and Gambit. The back of the box features all the figures in the set, which includes Wolverine (two versions), Venom (two versions), Deadpool, Magneto, Phoenix, the Hulk (two versions), Gambit (two versions) and Black Panther. The left side of the box features Phoenix, Wolverine and Gambit. What the box doesn't show is that there are black and white versions of Magneto and Deadpool plus glow in the dark versions of Gambit and Wolverine. Also not shown are the exclusive Marvel Zombies version of Daredevil and She-Hulk, which brings the set count to eighteen.

Countdown to Christmas 2020 Day 9: Deadpool With Turkey Funko Pop

I should have done a Countdown to Thanksgiving this year so I could have posted this Deadpool with Turkey Funko Pop back in November. Some people have a big old Butterball for their Christmas meal but we usually have ham. I love that he is wearing an apron and oven mitts. He would make a great gift for the Marvel cook in your life.

Marvel Zombies: Resurrection #1

Marvel Zombies: Resurrection #1 is now out just in time for All Saints Day (yes, it was out before Halloween too but I didn't get it posted in time for this year's Countdown to Halloween). The cover features zombified versions of Wolverine, Deadpool and Captain America. The body of Galactus is found floating in space and Reed Richards insist of going there with other super heroes so he can get a tissue sample. As you can imagine, his plan goes horribly wrong when they find out that someone has been living inside Galactus.

Halloween Countdown 2010 Day 8: Deadpool Vs Dracula

The variant cover of Deadpool #28 by Mike Meyhew has the title character from Marvel Comics trying to put the bite on the old Count himself with normal teeth. You can buy the black and white artwork here and view a four page preview of the issue at Comic Book Resources.
