Happy Thanksgiving from the Justice Society of America
The Justice Society of America wishes every one a safe and happy Thanksgiving. The Golden Age heroes in this group includes the Atom, Sandman, Spectre, Flash, Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Green Lantern and Hourman. I'm guessing Ma Hunkel aka the Red Tornado cooked the turkey much to Hawkman's dismay and is now in the kitchen cleaning up.

New History of the DC Universe #1
Out now is New History of the DC Universe #1 from DC Comics: "Learn the definitive history of the DC Universe! In celebration of 90 years of DC, super fan and writer Mark Waid turns back time to the very beginning of the DC Universe in a four-issue miniseries drawn by some of DC’s greatest artists and told by the newest chronicler of time, Barry Allen, the Flash! In our debut issue, Barry takes us from the very birth of the DC Universe to the rise of the Justice Society. The Golden Age of heroes begins here!"
Just look at all the superheroes on the wraparound cover that includes Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Unknown Soldier, Sandman, Wildcat, Green Lantern, Flash, Black Canary, Dr. Fate, Vigilante, Zatara, Aquaman, Spectre, Amazing-Man and Hawkgirl.

John Constantine: Hellblazer: Dead in America #1 Cover
DC Comics released John Constantine: Hellblazer: Dead in America #1 last week under the Black Label brand. That means you need to be 17+ to buy and read this due to mature themes. It's part of the Sandman Universe and he does does appear in this issue.

Knight Terrors Ad from DC Comics
Knight Terrors will be a two month horror event starting in July from DC Comics. As you can tell in the ad below, the main focus will be Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman. However, also expect some horror characters such as Deadman, Sandman (the Wesley Dodd version) and Zatanna. Of course, Harley Quinn has to pop up since she's in most everything lately/ To be honest, I would rather see this in October.

Women Wednesday: The Huntress on Justice Society of America #1 Cover
The Huntress (Helana Wayne) is the sole survivor on the cover of Justice Society of America #1 from DC Comics. The former JSA members are "ghosts" in the background and include Green Lantern (Alan Scott), Flash (Jay Garrick), Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Wildcat, Sandman, Hourman and Starman. This continues the story started in The New Golden Age one-shot issue and is a must read before reading this issue. Catwoman is also inside this issue along with a very interesting JSA that her and the Huntress leads twenty-six years from now.

Countdown to Halloween 2015 Day 2: Ultimate Spider-Man Villains Candy Sticks Part 2
At least the backs of the boxes with the villains were different:
The purple boxes:
The flip side of the purple boxes:
Did you know that you could make a heart shape out of Spidey's eyes?
The flip sides shows old webhead in action
The swinging Spider-Man green boxes:
The flip sides had him firing his webshooter at you:
Overall, there are fifteen different views of Spider-Man. I'm surprised that none of the Ultimate Spider-Man Villains Candy Sticks boxes had him fighting any of his foes.

Countdown to Halloween 2015 Day 1: Ultimate Spider-Man Villains Candy Sticks Part 1
Only Spider-Man is on the back of the bag:
Here is another look at the front of the bag but opened and flattened:
Here is another look at the back of the bag but opened and flattened:
Here is one of the individual Ultimate Spider-Man Villains Candy Sticks box along with the two candy sticks. The boxes are a little over 2 1/2" tall and a little over 3/4" wide. The candy sticks were about 2 1/2" tall (I ate them last month since I couldn't wait). They are peanut, gluten and fat free.
Be sure to return tomorrow for part two.

My Oldest Comic Book: Adventure Comics #97
Ads include Private Jones on the back of a captured Japanese soldier promoting Eveready Batteries, Adventures of "R.C." and Quickie in "Circus Terror!" to promote Royal Crown Cola (there is a drawing of Duncan Renaldo at the end of the ad from the movie, The Cisco Kid Returns), a Wheaties New Library of Sports centerfold ad, a half ad for a real U.S. Army plastic helmet and Volto From Mars promoting GrapeNuts Flakes (the bottom has "Tune in Hop Harrigan Blue Network Mon. thru Fri.").
A text story titled "Mad Money" by Eddie Bell can be found after the Starman feature and is continued on the back cover, which I don't have.
