10th album by Converge. It is actually a collaboration album with Chelsea Wolfe, comprised of 11 dark, brooding post-metal songs. Despite the dark, horrifying settings and atmospheres it evokes, it is a very enjoyable album. Existing Chelsea Wolfe fans should love it. Converge fans may find it more problematic due to the comparative slowness of many of the songs and the abundance of clean vocals, but the band haven’t traded in their trademark aggression for crooning.

7th album by Converge. The band delivers its most metallic version of hardcore/sludge ever. Variable tempos, perfect almost technical musicianship and great production. Several of the songs feature guest performances from the likes of Neurosis' Steve Von Till, Genghis Tron's Mookie Singerman, Disfear's Uffie Cederland and Cave-In's Steve Brodsky, J.R. Conners and Adam McGrath. This, in part, contributes to the diverse nature of the album.

Converge puts out another fast paced track with the print of the post-Jane Doe era. Fast and simpler than 'Axe To Fall', this song is also meaner and more imminent than last year's impressive full-length. Dropdead reply with a furious and aggressive political song, seven years since their split. Milking every last drop of energy into every note and breath.
