HeroQuest 15mm - Beastmen & Troll

Una nueva adición para el proyecto de HeroQuest 15mm: hombres bestia y un troll!

 A new addition to my HeroQuest 15mm project: beastmen and a troll!

En esta ocasión las figuras son de Ral Partha. La calidad y el detalle son excelentes, pero como punto negativo debo decir que las figuras "humanas" tienen la cabeza demasiado gorda para mi gusto (ya lo veréis cuando las pinte) y son un poquito grandes, como cuando comparas Xyston con Essex por ejemplo. Pero si se trata de pintar monstruos son perfectas.

This time the figures are from Ral Partha. The quality and detail are excellent, but as a negative point I must say that the "human" figures have heads too big for my taste (I´ll show you as soon as I paint them) and are quite big, like when you compare Essex with Xyston, for example. But if it comes to painting monsters, they are perfect.

Además de la buena calidad, otro punto positivo es que con las nuevas bandas de BlightHaven puedes tener unas 10 figuras completamente distintas a un precio bastante razonable.

Besides good quality, another positive point is that with the new BlightHaven warbands you can have about 10 completely different figures  for a fairly reasonable price.

HeroQuest 15mm - Giant Bats

Un par de criaturas a las que tendrán que enfrentarse los aventureros: Murciélagos Gigantes. Modelos de Splintered Light Miniatures (enjambre de murciélagos).

HeroQuest 15mm - Skeleton Wolf

Esta nueva criatura es inventada: el Lobo Esqueleto. El motivo es que me gustaron tanto las figuras de Splintered Light Miniatures que no pude resistirme.

This new creature is invented: the Skeleton Wolf. The reason is that I liked so much these Splintered Light Miniatures figures that I could not resist to include them.

Pintarlas ha sido algo sumamente sencillo, pero el detalle de la figura es tan fino que pasé mucho miedo preparando la figura, porque parecía que en cualquier momento se partiría una pata o el cuello... En realidad, la parte que más trabajo me ha llevado ha sido modificar la base para que parezca un suelo empedrado.

Painting has been very easy, but the detail of the figure is so fine that I was very afraid when preparing the figure, because it seemed that at any moment would break a leg or neck... Actually, the part that most work has taken to me has been changing the base to look like a stone floor.

HeroQuest 15mm - Wraith

La primera criatura pintada para HeroQuest: un Espectro. La figura es de Splintered Light Miniatures y me parece espectacular, realmente da miedo a pesar de ser una escala tan pequeña.

The first creature painted for HeroQuest: a Wraith. The figure is of Splintered Light Miniatures and I like it very much, I think it´s really scary despite being such a small scale.

Como podréis ver no me he complicado mucho con la pintura, pero creo que ha quedado resultona. Para terminar, os dejo la carta de monstruo correspondiente.

Dungeon heroes

Ya tengo las figuras necesarias para mi proyecto de dungeon, así que iré pintándolas poco a poco entre unidad y unidad de Warmaster... :-)

Lo primero que voy a pintar son cuatro héroes y un espectro. Al final voy a usar las reglas de Heroquest, así que las figuras elegidas representan a los héroes originales de la caja: bárbaro (me encanta esta figura), enano, mago y elfo. El espectro quiero pintarlo ya porque me parece una figura impresionante.

Todas las figuras son se Splintered Light Miniatures. Iré poniendo más fotos de otras miniaturas a medida que avance con la pintura.

I already have the figures I needed for my dungeon project, so I´ll slowly paint them, between Warmaster units... :-)

The first thing I'm going to paint are four heroes and a wraith. I will use HeroQuest rules, so the figures chosen represent the original heroes of the box: Barbarian (I love this figure), dwarf, wizard and elf. I want to paint the spectrum already because I think is a striking figure.

All figures are Splintered Light Miniatures. I'll post more pictures of other models as I proceed with painting.
