It is taking me a too much time to finish these figures (accustomed to 10mm) but I'm really enjoying painting the shields.

Por fin, mi primera unidad de SAGA terminada.

At last , my first SAGA unit is finished.

 

No estoy demasiado contento con el resultado, pero son las primeras figuras de 28mm que pinto en mucho tiempo y me ha costado mucho terminarlas.

I'm not too happy with the result, but they are the first 28mm figures I paint in a while and I had a hard time finishing them.

I'm a bit stuck with the norman spearmen painting, but I hope to finish them this week...

Meanwhile, here you have some photos of the conversions I'm making for the second infantry unit: 8 crossbowmen.

Los cuerpos son de Conquest Games y he usado ballestas de la caja de Milicia Imperial de GW (la mejor caja de regimiento de la historia de GW), generosamente donadas por Ulrich y Gran Maori (Muchas gracias chicos!). En algunos casos ha bastado con recortar los brazos, pero en otros tendré que usar masilla. En cualquier caso creo que el resultado va a ser más que aceptable.

I´ve used Conquest Games miniatures bodies and the crossbows are from GW Imperial Militia box (the best regiment box on GW history), generously donated by Ulrich and Gran Maori (Thanks chaps!). In some cases, it was enough to cut a bit the arms, but I will have to use putty on others. In any case, I think the result will be more than acceptable.

Warlord conversion [SAGA]

Con la masilla que me sobró tras arreglar la unión cabeza-cuerpo de los caballos he personalizado un poco a mi señor de la guerra. La conversión no es gran cosa, pero creo va a ayudar a distinguirlo un poco más del resto de caballeros.

With the putty left over after fixing the head-body junction of the horses I have customized a bit my warlord. This conversion is not a great thing, but it will help distinguish it between the other knights.

The beginning of a SAGA

Finalmente he sucumbido a la moda de SAGA y he conseguido unas matrices de Conquest Games para hacerme una banda de normandos. Ya tengo montadas dos unidades y el señor de la guerra. Os dejo unas fotos (perdonad la mala calidad de la cámara de mi móvil).

I´ve finally succumbed to SAGA trending and I´ve managed some Conquest Games sprues to make a Norman warband. I already have assembled a couple of units and the warlord. Here you have some pics (sorry for the awful quality of my movil camera). 

Mi banda (5 puntos) estará formada por:

My warband (5 points) will have:

• Señor de la guerra - Warlord
• 6 caballeros montados - 6 mounted knigths (HG)
• 6 caballeros montados - 6 mounted knigths (HG)
• 8 lanceros - 8 spearmen (W)
• 8 ballesteros - 8 crosbowmen (W)

Para completar la banda me faltan algunas cosas, como por ejemplo un caballo y un guerrero a pie. Este par de cosas creo que las puedo conseguir fácilmente clonando con oyumaru un caballo y un cuerpo de infantería.

In order to complete the warband I'm missing some things, such as one horse and one warrior. I think I can easily get tis couple of things cloning with oyumaru a horse and an infantry body.

Otra cosa que necesito son ballestas para hacer la conversión de la segunda unidad de warriors... ¿Alguien tiene ballestas de Fireforge o algo por el estilo?   :-)
