Esta hecho con cartón pluma y una varilla de madera para las columnas.

It´s made of foamboard and a wooden rod for the columns.

 

Y este escorpión de bones es una figura que ha pintado mi hijo. Servirá para partidas alternativas... como Furia de Titanes!

Bronze Bull [Argonauts]

Los khalkotauroi eran dos toros de bronce que respiraban fuego, regalo de Hefesto al rey Aeëtes, y que Jasón tubo que uncir para arar un campo. Si lo conseguía, el rey Aeëtes le prometió el vellocino de oro.

The khalkotauroi were two bronze bulls that breath fire, a gift to king Aeëtes from Hephaestus, that Jason had to yoke and use them to plough a field. Jason is promised the golden fleece by King Aeetes if he can do it.

La figura, de Reaper Bones, ha sido una gozada de pintar. He disfrutado mucho con la iluminación de los metales.

It has been a pleasure to paint this Reaper Bones figure. I´ve enjoyed a lot highlighting the metals.

The hunter who is hunted (Part 2)

El capitán ordenó zafarrancho de combate y vio que el timonel esperaba instrucciones. Lo que iba a ordenar podría ser un desastre absoluto o una brillante maniobra... Antes de poder abrir siquiera la boca se oyó la alerta del vigía. El globo de observación estaba enviando señales.

Al parecer iba a haber un invitado más a la fiesta... El capitán esbozó una sonrisa y dio la orden.

The captain ordered general quarters and saw the helmsman awaiting instructions. What he was going to order could be an absolute disaster or a brilliant maneuver... Before he could even open his mouth, the watchman raised a cry of alarm. The observation balloon was sending signals.

Apparently there would be a new guest at the party ... The captain smiled and gave the order.

Desde que la vi, supe el uso que iba a dar a esta figura de Reaper Bones. Además con ese precio, quien puede resistirse? 

En la partida usará las reglas del Crocidon, equilibrando un poco la balanza

From the first time I saw it, I knew the use I was going to give to this Reaper Bones figure. Also, with that price, who can resist?

In the game it will use the rules of the Crocidon, and so balancing the forces a bit.

Y algunas fotos de una partida de Knight´s Quest. Mi hijo sigue insistiendo en jugar con los monstruos, lo más curioso es que no se enfada cuando el caballero los derrota (que es lo normal...), sino que quiere que el caballero consiga su objetivo... De hecho, si alguna vez el caballero es derrotado, suele aparecer otro caballero que le rescata y ayuda a completar la misión. ¡Qué orgulloso estoy de mi pequeño DJ!

 And some pics of a Knight´s Quest game. My son insists on playing with the monsters but, curiously, he doesn´t get angry when the knight kills them (the normal thing...), instead, he wants the knight to achieve his objetive... In fact, if any time the knight is slain, it is something usual that other knight appears to rescue and help him to finish the mission. I´m so proud of my little DM!

Tenemos que trabajar la dificultad secuenciada... "Y después de matar al troll... ¡Aparecen tres ratitas, papá!"

La figura de orco me gusta especialmente. La de caballero no tanto, además se empeñó en pintarla de marrón... Os dejo también algunos ejemplos de las fichas de personajes y monstruos que he hecho para la mi versión "simplificada para niños de 3 años" de Knight´s Quest.

I specially like the orc figure. Not so the knight one, in addition he insisten on panting it brown... Also here you can see some character and monster sheet examples I´ve done for my "simplified for 3 years old kids" version of Knight´s Quest.

Like father, like son

Ayer, mi hijo de tres años pintó su primera miniatura: un dragón de Reaper Bones.

Yesterday, my three year old son painted his first figure: a Reaper Bones dragon.

 

Lo ha pintado el solo, usando tintas verde y sepia. Yo lo único que hice fue preparar la figura con una capa de pintura blanca.

He has painted it alone. The only thing I did was preparing the figure with a white coat.

 Él está encantado con la experiencia... y yo de lo más orgulloso! Ya me ha dicho que quiere pintar otro dragón y un caballero.

He is delighted with the experience... and I´m most proud of! He has already told me he wants to paint another dragon and knight.

Shelob [10mm LOTR]

Tenía esta figura de Reaper-Bones en casa y se me ocurrió que podía utilizarla para representar a Ella-Laraña en la escala 10mm. ¿Qué os parece? La pintura no es gran cosa, pero queda bastante aparente, creo.

I had this Reaper-Bones figure at home and I thought I could use it to represent Shelob in 10mm scale. What do you think? Painting is not a big deal, but it is quite apparent, I think.
