Elephant

Este elefante, sin torre ni combatientes, representará al pequeño grupo de elefantes presente en el ejército romano durante la batalla de Magnesia. Se quedaron en retaguardia, porque se habrían asustado al enfrentarse a los elefantes seléucidas, de mayor tamaño.

This elephant, without tower nor fighters, shall represent the small group of elephants present in the roman army at the battle of Magnesia. They deployed behind the lines, because they would have scared to face the larger seleucid elephants.

Me encanta la figura por lo sencilla que es. Igual pinto otro más.

I like this figure because of it´s simplicity. Maybe I should paint another one.

Seleucid Elephants

Un par de paquidermos, esta vez sin armadura. Las peanas individuales han sido una apuesta arriesgada, pero estoy muy contento con el efecto.

A pair of elephants, this time without armor. Individual bases have been a long shot, but I'm very happy with the effect.

Pendraken Elephants conversion

Para esta conversión he utilizado los nuevos elefantes cartagineses de pendraken (mucho más bonitos que los antiguos) y piqueros macedonios, también de pendraken.

For this conversion I´ve used the new pendraken carthaginian elephants (much nicer than the old ones) and macedonian pikemen, also pendraken's.

Además de sustituir a los piqueros cartagineses, he añadido unos colmillos más grandes, curvado un poco las trompas y separado las colas (no se aprecia en la foto). La conversión es mucho más sencilla que la que ya hice hace tiempo.

Besides replacing the carthaginian pikemen, I´ve added bigger tusks, slightly curved trunks and separated tails (not shown in photo). The conversion is much simpler than I did while.
