AM Portrait: an apocryphal League's adventure

Art by Otto Gabos.
The Alan Moore: Portrait of an Extraordinary Gentleman book I co-edited in 2003 contained a wide variety of materials... including some comics.
In the following you can read a one page story written and drawn by well-know Italian artist Otto Gabos. It's an apocryphal adventure of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, episode XXVI of a larger (and untold) story titled "When an Empire Falls". It's not "canon" but... it's a very funny and intriguing page and, I confess, I would like to get more.

The story is at page 233 of the sold-out volume and it appears on AMW with the author's permission. Again, many thanks to friend Otto for his great contribution to the Alan Moore: Portrait.
