Gridlink - Coronet Juniper

Genre: Techn.Grindcore
Country: U.S.A.
Year: 2023

1. Silk Ash Cascade
2. Anhalter Bahnhof
3. Pitch Black Resolve
4. Nickel Grass Mosaic
5. Ocean Vertigo
6. Octave Serpent
7. Coronet Juniper
8. Zygomatic
9. Refrain
10. The Forgers Secade
11. Revenant Orchard

4th album by Gridlink, 9 years after their last one. Gorgeously and methodically driving into chaos, Gridlink keep things just as grindy as they can while somehow engaging in such memorable moments that you’re bound to have some riffs stick with you long after it ends. One of the best grindcore albums for 2023!

Country: U.S.A.
Year: 2014

3. Thirst Watcher
4. Stay Without Me
5. Taibas
6. Retract Perdition

11. Wartime Exception Law 205

14. Look To Windward

3rd album by Gridlink. Running at twice the length of their previous albums, there’s certainly a lot here to take in.  22 minutes of anger, hatred, joy and sorrow. Hammering blast beats, slow parts (yes! slow parts), squalling and complex guitar parts and of course Jon Chang’s piercing vocals. This, unfortunately, is declared to be their last release, fortunately, a great swansong!

Gridlink - Amber Gray

Genre: Grindcore
Country: U.S.A.
Year: 2008

1. Amber Gray
2. 3 Miles Below Sea Level
3. The Jenova
4. Crash Logs
5. Black
6. Pattern Recognition
7. Antitheist
8. Stake Knife
9. Asuka
10. Burning Tiamat
11. Severence Package

Debut album by Gridlink. Regardless of the length of 'Amber Gray' (almost 12 minutes!!!), this album is massive in terms of sheer quality and extremity. Grind sometimes devolves into a spastic battery of blastbeats and interchangeable riffs, but each track is tight, technical and offers a wealth of sharp, vicious riffs.

Gridlink - Orphan

Genre: Grindcore
Country: U.S.A.
Year: 2011

1. Dar Al-Harb
2. Orphan
3. Deliverables
4. Scopedog
5. Red Eye
6. Cargo 200
7. Thorn Farmer
8. Embers, Blood And Treasure
9. I Accept Your Last Wish
10. Hearts
11. Flatworlder
12. The Last Red Shoulder

2nd album by Gridlink. The latest brainchild of masterminds Jon Chang and Takafumi Matsubara is 12 minutes of furious and savage ear-fuckery. What makes Gridlink special is their ability to create resplendent music with minimal time and space at breakneck speed. The vocals are brutal, but varied enough to make each track sound different, you'll hear high pitched wailing, guttural growls and hardcore yells. Musically, you'll get the usual blending of spastic grindcore with technical death metal, all going at 200 miles an hour.
