I made a New Home card recently, the house is using Concord and 9th Christmas houses from last year. The tulips are from Lawn Fawn and the fence is Poppystamps and the clouds are Memory Box. The oval is from Simon Says Stamp and lightly blended some colour. I drew round the oval and cut round the outside of the line to give me a backing mat. Sentiment is Altenew is actually two sentiments and stamped at the same time so must remember to stamp separately to get them closer together.

Snowflakes
I brought the Lawn Fawn Snowflake background die but went back to the old favourite large Snowflake die from Simon Says Stamp for the main snowflake. I doubled layered the main centre snowflake to help it stand out. Then one smaller glitter snowflake and tiny one in a matching colour.
The sentiment is from The Greetery to finish off. Next week is November so I must check to see how many more there is to make. It may slow on the card making the next couple days, had my covid booster yesterday and woken up to a sore arm.

Lilac Flowers
I’ll be honest I’m not keen on the tiny cute critters that Lawn Fawn sell but occasionally one the dies take my fancy. I love this frame but found it tricky to fin a sentiment to fit in the centre. Finally deciding on the Simon Says Stamp birthday sentiment die.
I di find the large Lawn Fawn birthday die at Sandown so I will have to use the frame again and I especially love the flowers which you can use separately.
Having some time at home what with busy few weeks to catch up on ourselves so I’ve been catching up with birthday cards I have to make just wish there weren’t so many men in my family.

New Home
I was asked by my son to make a New Home card and I decided to use the Lawn Fawn Build House.
The sun and clouds is another die from Lawn Fawn called Spring Showers.
I used the Simon says Stamp Wonky Rectangles to give a finishing edge and their Hills and Slopes. You can see I used the rectangles over the sun as I only wanted a corner bit, it didn't cut through all the layers but you still get a nice edge when you finish by cutting with scissors.
Finally the sentiment was from Simon says Stamp Home Sweet Home stamp set.
I'm more or less over the cold, thank you for the kind words and I feel up to spending the morning in my craftroom today since I haven't been in there all week. Does mean I'm a bit behind on my DT work so hopefully I shall get that done for next week.

The Design Team is looking forward to seeing your crafty makes and will pop around to visit you ASAP!
The last two weeks have been pretty busy so rather than pull out of this weeks challenge I thought I would make an Easel Card with the fabulous Lawn Fawn Build a House and I also brought the Christmas Add On.
I used the Simon says Stamp Happy Christmas Shadow Die to support the easel card part and decorated with their Poinsettia Parade and the Pine Needle die from Christmas Foliage.
The Stitched Slopes and Hills are again Simon says Stamp and cut the trees from their Evergreen Circle.
Thats all for now I'm hoping to get back into the craft room tomorrow.

I think I found another challenge not to my taste although a couple of team-mates have given me a couple of ideas and no doubt a craft spend.
Meanwhile I settle of my secret message card that I got the tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers Surprise Pop Up card.
So I finally got round to using this fabulous Lawn Fawn Mushroom House die and yes I cut out the roof twic once with red and once with white so I can pop in the white spots in the recess. Just the OCD part of me I'm afraid. You can also buy the Mushroom Border but decided I was pushing my luck to work that into the tutorial.
I also used the Lawn Fawn Spring Fling for the patterned paper. All the remained was the sentiment which I used Simon says Stamp Home Sweet Home.

Lets hope I can remember all the ingredients for this weeks card. So first I cut out a Stitched Rectangle from Simon says Stamp and used a couple of blue Oxides to make a sky and sea.
I then used the stamps from Lawn Fawn Smooth Sailing for my boats and I paper pieced them including the background paper for the sails to tie everything in. It just so happens that I had Lawn Fawn Palm Trees and Spring Showers already.
Just left a sentiment to make and I used the Simon says Stamp Tiny Words Birthday.

So I coloured and layered up my little Santa Bear from Lawn Fawn called Oh What Fun Stamp and die set and put him to one side. I did use a gold pen for the edges on the sleigh.
Now down to make the card to actually put him on. So I made my red and gold panel using red card and gold card with the Simon says Stamp Rina Snowflake. The other snowflake is Simon says Stamp Christmas Icon and the circles are out of the centres seemed a shame to waste them.
The white panel was made up with Simon says Stamp Stitched Slopes and Hills for my snow drifts and I embossed with the Simon says Stamp Falling Snow Stencil.
Finally the sentiment I used my overworked Simon says Stamp Stitched Banner with their Tiny Words Christmas.
I loved the red panel so much I used it again and will post them later this week.

I made this side step card a couple of weeks ago hope I can remember what I used! So I made the side step card using this tutorial in white then it was time to decorate.
I knew I was going to use Lawn Fawn Shut the Front Door die but I need a brick wall for it to go on so I used the Tim Holtz Mixed Media 3, I cut it twice. There is a join above the door but the rest is hidden behind the door.
The stitched slopes and hills of snow are using the Simon says Stamp stamp dies of the same name. I needed a tree but most of my dies are retired and not available in SSS but the Tim Holtz Woodland trees are in stock at the moment and I cut it twice once in white and then in green. I place some tape behind the white tree and pieced the green in the spaces.
My Lawn Fawn Winter Fox was place on the door but the door could still open with him on it. My Lawn Fawn Winter Owl isn't quite to the fox's size but since I didn't have the dies and had gone through the trouble of cutting him with a border so I was going to use him anyway.
Just some finishing touches like the sentiment from Simon says Stamp Yuletide Greetings and some Simon says Stamp Stitched Snowflakes, their centres I used Nuvo Crystal Drops Silver Lining

Toadally Awesome
Thank you for joining us for the Animal Magic Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week the challenge is
For The Boys
As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store
I had to chose whether to use some old Lawn Fawn or use the excuse to get some new Lawn Fawn. Well the Lawn Fawn Toadally Awesome stamps are new to me so you can guess which way I went.
I didn't buy the dies there is alway something else you want or see while you are shopping in Simon Says Stamp. so I fussy cut them and layered head and onto the lily pond leaves. I was inspired for my card with the Sketch SC692 on Splitcoast Stampers but there is a sneaky lily and extra toad.
You can see I've used the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles and the sentiment is from the Toadally Awesome stamp set and Simon Say Stamp Thoughtful Messages stamps.
Now I just needed something in the top left corner and it just so happens I already had the Lawn Fawn Spring Showers and the bit of colourful paper is also Lawn Fawn Really Rainbow paper pack.
To be honest I think my card would work for both sexes and not just for boys.

Aeroplanes two
Since I used the modern plane for my card for Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge and I always end up with more than one oxide background, I decided to use the old plane too.
So the stamp set is Lawn Fawn Plane and Simple but this time I also used Lawn Fawn Spring Showers. I cut the sun twice and cut the rays off to give my sun a rounder centre.
Of course I had to used Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle for a great finish touch to the main mat and also the most used die in my craft room.

Airplanes
Thank you for joining us for the add A Die Cut Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week the challenge is
Make Your Own Background
We are showcasing Lawn Fawn Products this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have them we would love to see them used.
As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away a $50 gift voucher to one randomly selected winner to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store
So there I was about to make my background by masking the clouds and realising there was going to be a lot of clouds to mask before using Broken China, Salty Ocean and Faded Jean Oxides to blend the sky.
What was I thinking we all know if there's a shortcut I will take it. So I blended the background all blue and used the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles. I then took the Lawn Fawn Plane and Simple stamps and stamped my clouds on white card and fussy cut them out or if you prefer buy the dies.
I wondered how people coloured the planes so I checked google images and I could only find images using the old type of plane that also comes with stamp set. This made me decide for the modern plane and just colour the wing and tail fins. I stuck the blue ones one down (actually its one plane that I cut in half. I raised the red one using 3d pads.
Finally I used the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Banners and used one of the sentiments that came with the stamp set.
A little tip if like me you fussy cut the clouds and planes I recommend you use a Distress Pen in Pumice Stone, I use to one to hide some bad cutting out and to help them to stand out.

Anything Goes

This is what a Christmas holiday does to you, you completely forget what day of the week it is and suddenly you see your team-mates blog post on your FB feed to realise its Wednesday.
I may be late be here it is my card for the challenge, to be honest I made it a while ago, I hope I can remember what I used. First off I made my Lawn Fawn Shut the Front door using various scraps of card and inked the edges especially the door frame and step.
I placed my door on a bit of white card that I splattered with some ink with a paintbrush, once dry I then stamped the sentiment using the Simon Says Stamp Christmas Message Strips. It was at this point I decided it would be fun to use the Simon Says Stamp Picture Book Hugging Penguin peeking out of the door.
Then I was at loss what to do, I've been trying to stop making linear cards but I'm not sure my doodled frame was really the way to go. Basically I drew two wiggly lines making sure they overlapped and made a thin border. Then I just got a decent black pen to make the lines for the stripes and colour every other one. Then I cut it out and stuck it on a bit of red card.
