Wedding Layouts

I've finally decided to show the layouts I made at the last Retreat I went to before the world descended into chaos. I just didn't want to remind myself how anxious I was feeling most of the time.

I'm starting to think about actually scrapbooking again after over a year of doing none and I'm even more behind now. There are some good times that need recording and that includes some more Wedding Photos.

Although if I plan to do so in my craftroom it needs a massive tidy!

Hogwarts

I haven't scrapbooked since I was on the retreat in March and we then went in Lockdown. I was a bit of mess anxiety wise and I'm not much better now. I'm disappointed in my scrapbooking even then and I really don't think I've really done the photos justice but I've got to put them out there because they were done the best I could at the time.

Time to Party

Like I said previously my scrapbooking mojo definitely flown away somewhere. Not sure what I could do to rescue it. So I'm just walking away.

The photo was taken at Coppice Beech Hotel Bracknell where we stayed overnight to celebrate my niece's Hen Do. Last week I posted when we celebrated, this photo was taken before we got started.

The Hen - Party

I've really struggled this year with my Scrapbooking and feel I may have lost my way somehow. I fee I could have done better but at least I've recorded the event and the way I feel.

Mum to Be

I can't even do the splits but my niece can even when she is truly pregnant and what a beautiful beach scene as well.

The papers are some old Simple Stores to match the blanket. the page is decorated with Memory box crab, lobster and anchor die (try not to notice that a sticky fixers is stuck on one of my anchors).

Your a Star

I rather pleased how this layout worked out, I had limited supplies of the papers basically apart from the stripy piece the rest was scraps. Funny but I always seem to make a decent layout when I'm limited.

This is my Gt Nephew doing a charity run at school I think or it could something the village arranged.

The stars are My Favourite Things Stitched Stars with some random chipboard ones and the chipboard stickers are some random stash. The letters I brought from Hobby Craft I think they are American Crafts.

Our Harry Potter

One of my recent Scrapbooking layout, isn't he cute. I wish my head had been into scrapbooking, mojo was definitely missing.

The papers are a kit I brought from The Scrap Cafe who run the crops and retreats, she has a shop which she welcomes any who wants to come to look and buy.  The kit as some stickers and some project life sheets. I cut the owl out of one the project life sheets and I drew round the Harry's scar sticker so I didn't have to use the actual sticker.  The magical word is an old die I've had a while.

I've schedule this post so I'm hoping that Storm Dennis isn't as bad as they say, my daughter lives near the river thankfully in a first floor flat but it's been known for the car park flood.

GrandPa

I really must sort out the photos of my scrapbooking stored on my camera especially as this layout is the last one in my drafts. Don't worry I have at least 7 to load on my PC.

The papers are some really old Scenic Route they used to make loads of patterned paper suitable for boys. The stars are MFT dies and circles are a Lifestyle dies again they are no more.

The tiny stars are probably Simon says Stamp Holiday Shapes, when I use this die I keep the ones not used in the envelope the die comes in .

New Baby

I did enjoy scrapbooking this cut photo's even though Mum and Dad looked shattered. I can believe this was two years ago, now the little chap doesn't stand still to photo.

The papers are Echo Park which I brought when the little chap was born.

He is again with his favourite cousin who in turn absolutely dotes on him.

I mainly used the stickers with the collection kit but the top one I used a Stamping Up border punch not sure if they still make or the Confetti Stamps that made the stars. I know they don't do the Gorgeous Gunge set anymore.
The Titles are made with a Cricut and the storybook catridge. Yes are cricut are that old not sure whether to get a new one, my is a small one and I don't have room for the larger sizes.

Not Older Just Better

I wasn't around on Saturday to schedule my scrapbook pages and now hubby is watching football I thought I would sneak onto the PC to quickly post.

I think the layout above was with some Kaiser papers and the camera is an old die from MFT

Finally got round to scrapbook hubby when he was awarded with the Voluteer's Cup from Friday Swimmers.

Again its with some Kaiser papers with the help of some ivy dies which I unfortunately didn't keep the name of the manufactures but I brought them at a craft fair here in the UK.

Victorian Christmas

I've been really bad keeping up to date with my blog scrapbooking, this double layout is of the Victorian Christmarket and the Historic Docks at Portsmouth. We've for a few years now, the last visit we went round the Mary Rose Exhibition. You entrance for the Christmas Fair allows you into all the exhibitions too.

Here they are individually, the papers are a mixture of what I had left from a couple Simple Stories Christmas Collections.

Baby Shower

Can you believe that the baby in question is now two and a bundle of mischief. Alice in Wonderland is the mum to be favourite disney film so that was the theme.

My sister got me to make the keys and pocket watch for a display and she made the drink me tags. She made eat me ones too but somehow I didn't get one of those but I had to add them.

Therewas really a colour scheme so any colour worked.

A couple of close ups of each page.

Paradise

Found my last scrapbook page that was waiting to be posted, haven't done any for a while now  but super excited that in a couple of weeks I'll be at crafting retreat to catch up.

I'm so thankful to one of my son's friends sending me loads of holiday photos since he is an absolute pain when I try. I really would love to have the new slim me have a photo of hubby, son and daughter altogether.

The papers are old, the sun and clouds could be Lawn Fawn die. The crab and lobster as well as the anchor are Memory Box dies. The large palm tree is an old MFT die and the punch is an old EK success one.

Today's I'm hoping to get out the kits of photo and papers, to sort out sketch and ideas of dies etc to take for the retreat. So I can be super organised!

Turtles

I've used a couple of different Kaisercraft paper collections and actually cut out the turtles to lay over my water looking paper.

The shells was also cut out to layer across the join of the two bits of paper. The Seaweed stalks is a Memory Box die at least I think it is been a long time since I made it.

I couldn't actually put a title since I'm not sure where my son was, or what they were doing and I just used word strips that I felt revelant. I felt comfortable of showing the a child since the hat has hidden who it actually is.

The Flood

I wanted to record what happened to MIL when she was in a care home near her home, the arrow points to where the home was. Luckily they were evacuted before the river/canal burst its banks.
The photos were saved from Facebook.

I also wanted to have a go and distressing on a layout of course now I wich I hadn't stamped across the right but hindsight is a wonderful thing. Otherwise I think it didn't turn out that bad.

Odds and Ends

Couple of layouts with some photos I wanted to scrap with. I do love how using the scraps can make sure a great page. The black word strips are a Tim Holtz word book. The camera was on a paper that I cute out. The Cheers are some American Crafts I brought at Hobbycraft. The other words are a Simon says Stamp Heart Smile die.

I used some stamps that are now retired from Stampin Up. The sticker words from various sticker sheets and some very old Basic Grey letters that I thought was time to use up. The perfection is a die from Simon say Stamp

Cayman Islands

A few more layouts from the photos I received. I have used a mixture Kaiser papers for the one above is using embellishments from the papers and stickers.

The one below is using some leftover bits but I did buy the turtles from Hobbycraft and was determined to use them. The feather palm leaves is a Tattered Lace die I brought it for one of the other leaf die but ending up using that instead.  The stickers are so old ones in my stash.

One more, I finally used my Globe die Impression Obession and the bubbles across the top is an EK success punch which again I've had a while. The stickers are from various Kaiser papers.

Couple of layouts hiding in my drafts, both of my Gt Nephew. The both using some old papers.

A Moment in Time

I saw a layout similar to this so I really scraplifted it, which is just as well. I only scrap pieces of the paper.

I've used a fabulous photo shoot photo of my Gt Nephew, he is so grown up now.

Although you can see it the stars are stitched ones from My Favourite Things, the dots are from a stamp with scrap paper masking so I don't get the whole stamp of dots.

The letters are from Hobbycraft and the hearts were already cut out in the perfect colour from a previous project.
