Introducing the Fabulous 5
Hi everybuddy, It's me "Aunt" Chica. We got new foster pups on Saturday. A Mom named Dolly aka Mamacita or Mama and 4 count them 4 babies. They were 1 month old yesterday and still need names. The grand bipeds will be visiting soon and are going to get to name them. There are 3 boys and 1 girl.
This little guy(boy#1) must have had an over abundance of milk.
This is boy #2. Very cute and has longish hair.
Boy #1 upright so we know he is OK and ready to go again.
Boy #3, He also has longish hair and we think he is the "little piggy" of the bunch. He waddles and is as M would put it (being kind and all) a bit on the fluffy side.
Below is the little girl. She is the littlest one and very sweet. They are starting to play more and WE have fun checking them out and sniffing. Mamacita is getting comfortable with all of us and letting us come closer and EVEN into the pen with them. As long as the door is open and our M is there.
M has gone a bit crazy with the picture taking of these cuties. BUT she did take some of us "regular" dogs for walks yesterday.
Woofs and tailwags to all of you. Hope your day is fun and a good one!!

Good to be back!
Hey furiends! It's good to be back. Hey!!!!What's going on?? We can't get rid of the underlining thing and the color changed.... Think we're being haunted or taunted!
It's me Ernie. We were gone for awhile hoping to find sun... Well, that didn't work as well as we hoped it would.
Kumo was adopted yesterday by a very nice family and he now has a girl of his very own to play and hang out with. Our M really liked them and think this will be a good place for him - a real forever home.
(the pic is of Cormick aka Tuxedo and Kumo)
11 pups were adopted yesterday with a strong possibility for 3 or 4 more by middle of the week.
The last transport instead of bringing up 15 pups ended up transporting 43 pups. M said it was just too hard to leave them behind. The people doing the transport, would have brought more if they had room.
Kumo cleaning his nose. Not sure what was on it. Maybe Peanut Butter. He likes that stuff too.
Here we are at the cabin. I am checking out the weather and wondering why we aren't out there. Could it be there was rain and cold and ... Isn't it supposed to be getting nicer - after all it's almost summer.
Me and my buddy Lucas. Since we couldn't go out, we figured we might as well rest up.
We're really getting into this resting thing. We will be ready any time they open that door.
Mom found a new "button/setting" on her camera. She can do something called Sepia and black and white and even one called happy. Lucky for you all, she only picked out the Sepia one. I am not sure this shows me to my best self. My eyes hardly show up at all. Think M & I will have a little talk. If I am going to pose I would like to be shown to my best advantage.
The Sepia thing showed Chica and Lucas with laser eyes. They look kinda spooky.
Newest foster. Mama on right. Her name is Dolly but M calls her mama or mamacita. She is with Baby 1. Still to be named.
Baby 1 exploring. M had to save it. (M needs to check the babies out and see what sex they are and get them named) Maybe she'll work on that today. I will make sure she let you all know and even get better pics of them.
Baby 1 is pretty adventurous. The first one out of the crate to check things out. Must have been hungry. Started sucking on M's jeans.
4 babies in all. They have a great Mom who takes very good care of them. The brownest one came out later and was HUNGRY, From the looks of him, he is the big eater of the bunch. Mamacita was eating and he tried to get into her dish and to nurse. Mama made baby wait. She gave a low growl and he sat right down and just watched her for a few seconds. She is in charge.
Hi, Mom here. This is the first time we have had foster with babies. I am checking to see how old they are. Maybe 3 weeks?
Anyhow, hope all the Dads out there have a wonderful Father's Day.
Sorry we were gone for so long. We missed everyone but will be working to catch up.
PeeEss: The color change and underlining was Mom. She was just messing with my mind....

Good news - Cormick
WhooHoo!!! Things are happening! This is one of the babies we are getting in less than a week. There will be 2 of them. A boy (Chance) and a girl (Jazmin). Not even sure how old they are but will know more when it gets closer. Not sure which one this is.
Oh and of course their Mom. These are 2 of the new moms coming up. We think the one on the left is Dolly and she just had 4 yes 4 babies about a week ago. She is going to a different foster home. We think ours is the one on the right and her name is Penny. The fosters they were with have been great with them and taken wonderful care.
Sasha and Cormick all tuckered out from playing. Very Busy soaking up the warm sun rays.
AND wonderful news for Cormick. He was adopted and now lives with 2 brothers. His new name is Tuxedo. He has a 10 yr old Corgi brother Sam, and another Chi who is also about 2 named Tippy. His new family is VERY pleased with him and say he is settling in fine and is a joy to have around. Cormick loves the shell he found in our yard. He used to pack it around and throw it in the air and it was his special toy.

BTW this is M. Taking over for the day. Thank you Ernie and the rest of the Clampet Pack.
Hope all have a good day.

Oh Happy Day!!!
What a happy day!!! Sunshine, Sniffs, what more is there?? I Ernie, will tell you. More dogs.
I am their leader. Chica may think she is top dog but I lead all the pups outside to show them the ropes. I am a little bent right now. If you notice I seem to be missing from the movies. What's with that???
A good roll in the grass!!!!
Poochie(what a name) another new foster, We think there could be a better name for him. He is very sweet and happy. Has quite a happy, smiling face. We have 3 foster pups - Kumo(Japanese for Cloud), Cormick, and Poochie ( a Pom). Cormick has something they call a meet and greet Saturday. Do you think this is something contagious???I heard rumblings about something else - Something about a Mom Chi and 2 babies.... I'm thinking we're full up. May need to add on. OR maybe some will get adopted.
Ernie, signing off. Need to check on the little ones.
Have a happy day!!!
