Catch up time....

Hello friends, We have been gone a long time and we have missed a lot..  Have been able to read some but when trying to do a post we were in a loop or something.  It kept redirecting.  Also we have been busy with fosters, trips, GG not doing well and went to the cabin a couple of times. Now to do some catching up.  BTW we are going to try and get around to reading all the posts of pour furiends.
This is Sparky.  He was a fun guy and was adopted by a great family.

Not such a good picture but at the far left is our Sasha.  She is getting older and not doing so well. She sleeps a lot.  In the middle is Sparky and the black pup is Tarzan.  Both Sparky and Tarzan were fun and went to nice families.

Guess.... These are some of the collars I was making for our Rescue group.  Only I forgot to take pics of the finished collars before I handed them over for the last transport.

Couldn't help myself. You will see a few pics of this sweetie.  Her name was Milli and she was adopted by a wonderful family who loved her at first sight.  A real sweetie.  Sure miss her.  She is a Pit mix.  Smart and curious and loved to play.

She is very photogenic.  Her new mom and dad love taking pics of her too. She was 3 months old.

Did I say I liked taking pics of Milli????

OK OK ... so this is the last on of Milli for this post.  Loved her.
Another foster Webb.  We had trouble with that name and started calling him Jack.  He seemed more like Jack than Webb.  Sooooo sweet

What a beautiful face.  He is part Doxie and kinda looks like a Belgian Malinois in the face.... at least that is what lots of folks said. Oh and yes he also now is in his new home with a family and kids of his own.  Loved him too....

This is Sally... another foster that recently found her forever home. She is also very photogenic and was very shy and standoffish at first.  Then she found out about playing and being with people and other dogs and going for walks.  What a difference.  Her new mom and dad loved the way she walked on the leash.  They called it her happy walk.

Couldn't resist another pic of Webb aka Jack

There is a wild horse herd near our cabin.  They are beautiful  The sad part is people who could no longer care for them just turned them loose to fend for themselves.  At least that is the story.

The hoses have been hanging around with the cows.  There are 3 new foals
in the horse herd this year.  It is awesome to see them.  Some people have been coming over on the weekends or holidays and doing things to scare or chase them.  What is it with people anyway... So wrong.
A beautiful buck with 4  or 8 points depending on a person's point of view .He was laying right next to our fence and stayed there for an hour just watching us.  Then he jumped over the fence and walked right near us.   Didn't seem bothered by us at all.  Maybe he was hoping to get cool or get some water.... we had the sprinkler on...

This little one is Kingston.  He was adopted Monday by a fantastic family.  It was priceless to see their faces when they came to meet him.  The daughter had worked and saved money and done research.  He is one lucky little man...all 4 lbs of him.  He is about 3.5 months old. Again an awesome, smart and sweet little guy.

Couldn't resist... This is Sally.  And is a much better picture than the earlier one.  Right now we are foster free.  Somehow it doesn't seem right. There is a foster coming.  Right now she is being called Pie because she is sweet as pie.  She is from a hoarding situation.  Don't know much about her except that she has a skin condition.  Even with that she looks cute and  we hope it won't be long before she gets here.
I am dedicating this post to our sweet Sasha.  She went to the Rainbow Bridge This past Thursday.  She is no longer in pain, can breathe much easier, can play and meet our other dogs, Bridget, Niki, Bo, and Tater.  And also all the friends she made during her life here with us.  She was an awesome asset for the fosters.  She welcomed them into the house, took care of hubby when he would fall, and she also was a rescue like Ernie, Chica, Lucas, and Rosie.   Maybe one could even say she was their "mentor"  Miss you sweet girl.  I feel your spirit still with us.  I have seen the other dogs seem to be looking for her.
Bless you all.  Hope you haven't given up on us ever getting back to blogging.
