Dogpourri....

 Hey Everybuddy, This is Tarzan.  How do you like my handsome ears.  I hear very well with them. They call me Tarzan(but when I find my forever home - I wouldn't mind if my name was changed. I am very sweet, happy,playful and I like to cuddle with my foster Mom & Dad and the other dogs in my foster home. BUT as nice as it is what I really want is a family to call my own to love, go for walks, and car rides,and cuddle with. Oh yes, I am doing great on the leash and they are very proud of me because I am house trained...no accidents! In case you wonder, I am part Chihuahua and Italian Greyhound as near as anyone can tell.  No matter, I will be a good companion..

 Here I am watching over my playmate Lucas.  We had played a lot and he must have been tired.  Cuz he is a couple of years older than me.  I am just a young furkid. 

 This sweetie is Celeste.  She is a small wirehaired Doxie mix.  Very Very sweet AND she was adopted.  Yay Celeste.

 Oh yes, This is Casey doing a play bow.  He was adopted too!  Way to go Casey.

 Here I am talking to Celeste and wishing her well in her new home.  She was adopted by a really nice young couple.

 Chica on patrol.  She works at keeping all of us inline... heehee  Somedays I think we wear her out...

 Here I am cuddling up and moving in on Sasha.  Sasha is older and is moving slowly and not too steady on her feet sometimes. And she is getting lots of lumps and bumps.. Some of her lumps have bumps.  She is a happy girl and loves all of us....

Does this mean they are taking a rest break?

 Ernie talks to us and tells us to follow him outside and to come inside.  He is our leader...

Finally--- seems like yearssss but got M to sit down and catch up on posts and pics and stuff.

This was from a walk we went on and it was kinda rainy but was good to be out sniffing and checking things out.

M was trying to get creative with this one.  Heard her say she likes Pine Cones and stuff like that. We don't understand that at all!

You can see we were hiding our eyes from her flashy beast.  At least Chica was. She said she wanted something besides the usual butt shots of us out walking.

 

Well, not a butt shot but we did give her what we thought was our good sides - wearing our muscle shirts she made us.  Now we hear her talking about not only making new coats but..... dog boots.  I'll tell you a little story on Chica if you promise not to laugh at her  BUT... M bought some of those rubber booties.   Well.... Chica didn't think much of them at all.  They scared her so bad she ACTually peed on D.  That did it.  M took them back to the store. No more of those rubber things for us.  We'll stick with fleecy things.  Maybe...Haven't worn any boots yet.

This was a view from Dad's room at the nursing facility.He was so lucky - he had a view from just about every place there.  Oh, yes... he is doing great!! He's been home for a while and had an amazing recovery!!!

Couldn't let M do a post without a pic of handsome me.  My knee is fine but M is noticing a limp when we go for walks.  Vet said I had some arthurritis....  in my hip.  He doesn't sound like a good friend to have.

Our other foster Celeste (a year old wirehaired Doxie mix) was adopted.  She was the same color as Sasha.  M said she had never seen a Doxie with that coloring.  A super sweet dog.  Another one that could be a keeper ... then there's Tarzan.... he is still looking for his forever home. Tarzan is a Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound mix as close as we can tell.  Solid black except for a tiny white spot on his chest.
