After 24 years of existence in the scene, Cathedral released their final 10th album. Heavy, slow, dark and a return to their doomy roots, with lesser '70s and stoner elements. Noticeable is the presence of Scott Carlson (Repulsion) in bass guitar.

3rd album by Cathedral. It is not just crushing doom, though, the vocals are varied and you can hear trad. metal and prog playing a part in the songwriting, making this a more varied and ultimately more satisfying release. The excellent fuzzed out production helps alot and Lee Dorrian's vocals are gruff and awesome. "Utopian Blaster" features Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi on guest guitar.

A 2 song 'Ep by Cathedral, that comes to fill the gap between their last 2010 album and their upcoming and last one. It is available only in vinyl edition, so this is a vinyl rip. The 1st song it's heavy with a simplistic production giving it a great raw feel. The 2nd one it's a typical Black Sabbath copy sounding very much like 'Lord Of This World' with a few new bits thrown in.

Cathedral's second release contains both stoner rock and doom metal, experimenting with swinging passages and psychedelic rock, blues-rock painted riffs and darker Black Sabbath and Candlemass-type doomy riffs. Overall a very enjoyable album, some consider this release their finest album of their career.

Debut album by Cathedral. They made quite an impact on the metal scene with the release of this album. Expectations were high as the members came from acts such as Napalm Death, Dream Death and Acid Reign, but Cathedral is a very different beast compared to the bands the members previously were in. The inspiration from '70s doom metal is obvious but on this album the band fuse the old school doom metal influence with an extreme metal touch.
