It is chock full of riffs that are both melodic and fucking heavy. There are sound samples here and there which add to the B-movie horror feel. The lyrics all about old horror and sci-fi movies and are pretty gory.

4th album by Revolting. Each track is fairly similar in structure and delivery, but with a warmer overall sound. Despite the lack of creativity from song to song, the band is wise to keep things brief. It’s well performed and enjoyable to listen, after a few listens, though, you tend to let it fade into the background, in despite with their 3rd album.

3rd album by Revolting. The songs perfectly capture the balance of groove, d-beat and death metal, all rendered with the classic Swedish tone. Some of the songs certainly aren’t as good as others, but overall, we’re presented with a solid package here. Rogga’s growls suit the music perfectly and the rhythm section is spot on.
