6th album by Svartsot. The contrast between brutality and playful tones is very strong in Svartsot, making their mix immediately catchy. 'Peregrinus' remains a fairly varied album that doesn’t hesitate to venture into all areas to convince. The strength of this album is its easy-to-listen-to nature. It flows well, and really doesn’t outstay its welcome.

Raw almost primitive speed/heavy is my cup of tea (among many others) and Steel Inferno can deliver an excellent, high quality mixture of Overkill and Agent Steel inspired heavy metal with many thrash elements given with strong doses of underground vibes. There’s so much energy, passion, enthusiasm and power to their songs that you just can’t just stand with apathy as the record spins.

Debut album by Konvent. It is a strong statement of intent from this promising band. Whilst it can be a dense and difficult listen to digest at times, it sets the stage nicely for what follows. The style is mostly a heavy, slow doom metal with death metal elements such as sudden, fast guitar riffing and violent drumbeats, emerging from an otherwise slow and gloomy, melancholic atmosphere.
