A quick and simple card for Bee Crafty

Hi there! It's my turn to be on the Bee Crafty blog again today. I made a very quick card. Here is a quick 'how to':
You will need a 6 x 6" card blank, Black versafine or versafine Clair, distress oxides in twisted citron and peeled paint (or two other shades of green), 6" Easy frame inkable nettle leaf, the nettle leaf stamp set, a sentiment - I used Time
First I sponged twisted citron distress oxide around the 'inny' mask from the stencil.
Next I inked up the smaller of the nettle leaves with Peeled paint distress oxide and stamped randomly around the edge of the card, staying out of the area that had been covered by the leaf mask.

Finally I inked up the sentiment with black versafine clair ink, and stamped it across the central leaf shape.

That simple and it is done!

Mid-month inspiration at Stamping Sensations

It is mid-way through the month and time for  a reminder of our challenge at Stamping Sensations. This month our theme is
***All Creatures Great and Small***
and our sponsors are the lovely Jean and Malcolm of Crafty Individuals.
My card was made with CI-523 , Happy Cat and CI-525, Fantastic florals. The background was a colour wash of Distress Oxides in Worn lipstick and wilted violet, with some stamping using Flo Langley's background stamps.

A Whale of a card

Its time to show you another of Dora's delightful images. This month she has drawn some wonderful new sea creature images for us. There are whales, turtles, and even Narwhal! My DT Card features a wonderful whale, which I coloured with silver paint. The background was created using distress oxides in peacock feathers and salty ocean, water spray and some bee crafty stencils. I've never thoroghly wet a digi before and I am quite pleased that there was only a tiny bit of bleeding. The shell stamp is from Crafty Individuals CI-272. You can find Dora's fabulous Digis on her website here.

September at Stamping Sensations

It is the first Sunday of the month and time for our September challenge at Stamping Sensations. This month we have a lovely theme....
********I Spy something beginning with B********
My project this month features stamps and stencils from our sponsor, Bee Crafty, and my 'B's are Bird (the beautiful large swallow stamp), blue and brown (oxide inks). I used Bee Crafty Inkables Mandala 4Ticker tape 1 and Swallow
Even though it is an easy theme, we need you to play by the rules:

Please can I remind you we are a stamping challenge so must see a stamped image which reflects the theme as the focal element of your artwork , this means:
Stamping must be the central point of attention and interest
We are pleased to welcome back Bee Crafty  as our sponsor this month, with a fabulous £25 store voucher for our lucky winner. There are some wonderful stamps and stencils on their website
Do pop over to the challenge blog and take a look at the fabulous creations from my talented team mates, many featuring Bee Crafty stamps!

Before I go I will just share a few more photos from our holiday in Wales. First up is Fairy Glen, near Betws-y-coed. I did a fair bit of scrambling over rocks to take that one!
Next is a view along the River Conwy, near Beddgelert.
and this is Moel Ty Uchaf stone circle, near Llandrillo.
Finally here is the view from the near the top of Pistyll Rhaeadr.
Thanks for looking, and I look forward to seeing your entries.
