A little rain tag and a sneaky peek

I'm here with a super quick tag and a sneaky peek today for my step by step

I began by adding some spots of dylusions shimmer paints to the top of a #10 tag and spraying it with water whilst tilted to make it dribble down.

I used the number dinkable to add some detail using black soot distress oxide ink. I also sponged a little around the edge of the tag too.

I stamped the smaller dandedaisy on to mixed media card with versafine clair ink and used ecoline brush pens to colour it in.

I attached the flower to the bottom of the tag and then added the sentiment from the walk your own way sheet using matte medium.
Here is the finished tag with an orange ribbon added

I used:
Dylusions shimmer paints in Crushed Grape, London Blue, Fresh Lime and Pure Sunshine
Dinkable from set 5
Distress oxide ink in Black soot

Finally, make sure you tune in to Bev's Try it out Tuesday on the Bee Crafty Facebook page tonight at 8pm because there might just be some newy newness making an appearance! Here is a sneaky peek!

Also, don't forget to check out the new challenge for August in the Bee Crafty Stamps Facebook group.

Autumn Leaves and a sneaky peek!

Hi there! I am here with a step by step for a simple Autumnal card for Bee Crafty.

Here is how I made it:

I began by making a border on an ivory card using masking/ stencil tape.

I then blended distress oxide inks in autumnal colours into the centre and left to dry completely.
After a dust with an anti-static bag I stamped the leaves from the Doodle Art dragonfly set at each corner in versamark and sprinkled over gold embossing powder. The leaves in this set were originally joined together but I have cut them apart carefully with scissors. Next I removed the masking tape carefully.
I heated the embossing powder then stamped the smaller leaf 4 times in the centre and added  embossing powder before heating again.
Using the border stamp from the same stamp set I stamped it centrally on each side of the square in tea dye distress ink
I used a gold gellyroll pen to add a doodled border to each corner and also sprinkled a few drops of water onto the distress oxide ink panel.
here is the finished card...

...and a closer look at that gold embossing. Don't forget to enter your Autumn colour creations in the October challenge album over on the Bee Crafty Facebook group

Here is a list of what I used:
6x6 ivory card
Masking/stencil tape
versamark ink
Anti static bag
gold gelly roll pen

Before I go, here is a sneaky peak of one of the new stamp sets that Bee Crafty are launching on Facebook tomorrow. There will be facebook lives, videos, giveaways and bargains throughout the day, including a facebook live from me at 6pm. Visit the Bee Crafty Facebook page for details!

I hope you can join in the fun!

A quick sunflower card

Hi there! I have been busy making samples for the Bee crafty show on the Craft Store tomorrow (Tuesday 29th at 1pm) so my step by step today is a very quick one!

I used

a 6x6" white card blank

Big ones inkable - eclipse trellis

distress inks in Twisted Citron, mustard seed and Spiced marmalade

Regular Doodle Art sunflower stamps

Versafine/ versafine clair black ink

Ecoline brush pens

a small piece of watercolour paper

adhesive - I used Matte Medium

Everyday sentiments 1 regular

liquid pearls

I began by attaching the inkable to the card with stencil tape. The folded edge is left without the inkable covering it. I applied the distress inks with blending brushes. By turning the card around I am less likely to put fingerprints on the white bit!

Next I removed the inkable, stamped the sunflower directly onto the card and coloured the leaves with the light green and chartreuse ecoline pens.

I also stamped the small border stamp from the Sunflower set at the two outer corners.
I set the base card aside and stamped the head of the sunflower onto watercolour card.

Then I used a selection of ecolines to colour the flower.

I cut out the flower and stuck it onto the base card using matte medium.

I added a sentiment using black ink then used liquid pearls to add a little interest to the corners.
Here is the finished card again.
Don't forget to tune in to the Craft Store at 1pm to see Bev demonstrating with the fabulous new Journaling Girl stamps tomorrow.
Here is a sneaky peek!

A shiny sunflower tag and a sneaky peek!

Hi There! Like many of you I loved the look of the dylusions shimmer paints that Bev and Sam showcased in their facebook lives this week and had to have them! Mine arrived on Friday, so I decided I would use them on a tag for this week's blog post.
This is what I used:
Dylusions shimmer paints in Calypso Teal, Pure Sunshine and Fresh Lime
Archival black ink (You could use memento black)
Versafine black ink
Memento ink (I used olive grove and bahama blue)
Versamark ink
white embossing powder
black card

Here is how I made it. First I painted the tag using the shimmer paint. I mopped up the paint on my glass mat with another piece of card that will make a great background for another card too.
Once the paint was dry, I stamped the sunflower in Archival ink  (I could have used memento) onto the painted surface, then stamped the sunflower again onto the watercolour card. Both archival and Versafine would be fine for the watercolour card.

I coloured the sunflower on the watercolour card with my ecoline pens.
Next I used memento ink to stamp a border and some spots around the sunflower on the painted tag.
I cut out the coloured sunflower and stuck it to the painted tag using collage medium.
Next I added a few extra highlights with gelly roll pens and a white pen. I also stamped the little leaf 4 times in black where the border  joins were, and coloured with the green gelly roll pen.
I added some spots of glossy accents on the centre of the sunflower.
Whilst this dried, I stamped the sentiment in versamark ink, then heat embossed in white onto a scrap of black card.
Finally I added the sentiment and some matching braid to the tag, matting it onto more black card.
I hope you will be able to tune in to The Craft Store tomorrow at 1pm as Bev and Sam will be there with some brand new stamps, dies and inkables, as well as fab mdf basics and popouts. Here is a little sneaky peek at one of my samples! I will be sharing them all next week.

Thanks for looking! I will be back tomorrow with my Digi from Dora and some photos x

A sneak peek and True blue

Hi there. Hope you are having a lovely weekend. I am enjoying a cuppa in the garden in between playing with new stamps from Inkylicious. some gorgeous scenic stamps and vintage stamps too. I will treat you to a couple of sneak peeks.

Hope you will tune in next Sunday (26th) at 11 am to C&C to watch.
Now, onto my true blue creation.
I was having a little clear out of paper and found some that I had sprayed with crafty notions colour sprays in shades of blue. I then over stamped it with music and notes before stamping and embossing the guitar in white. Main image stamp is from the Stampman. It was pure chance that I spotted the theme at Allsorts this week was true blue, so I am entering this card there. Thanks for looking and for all your lovely comments. I will be back soon with more sneak peeks and inkyness.

Some more sneaky peeks for Sunday!

If you haven't popped by in a while you may not of heard that I have made some cards for Inkylicious, who have a show on Create and Craft this Sunday at 5pm. Here is another sneaky peek. Most of the cards I made will appear on here with details of how I made them as well as full pictures over the next couple of weeks, I promise!
I did produce a wide range of styles from vintage to clean and simple, so I hope I have catered for everyone's taste.
I didn't go for vintage colours on all of them, but the Distress inks were out with my ink dusters for most of the time!
Victorian velvet and tea dye are a fabulous combination...
as is tumbled glass and tea dye!
Hope I have whetted your appetite enough for you to tune in!
Thanks for looking and please call back soon!
