These can not be bought, only won and awarded by those who excelled at raising money for Prostate Cancer on the 2015 Distinguished Gentleman's ride. 

37,261 riders in 410 cities in 79 countries took part in the 2015 DGR raising $3 Million with each of our prize winners raising approx £5,000 each. 

Davida are proud to support the DGR once again this year by creating and supplying these exclusive special DGR helmets, free of charge to the top fundraisers.

We make a yearly trip to Upper Michigan in the fall. Last September we had our first Distinguished Gentlemen's Dirt Ride.

DGR 2014

The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride has exploded. Well, not literally, but there are clearly a load of folk doing it this year. And it all happens this Sunday.

This weekend, there are 255 charity rides (raising money for prostate cancer research) in 57 countries. And Triumph are corporate sponsors of the whole thing.

This Sunday: DGR & DTRA

The 2013 Distinguished Gentleman's Ride goes off in countries around the world this Sunday. This year the organisers have added a charity element. Find out more at https://www.gentlemansride.com

There are four or five rides in the UK, but I'll be at the final DTRA meet of the year, at King's Lynn. Free to spectate. Marshals are always welcome and need no previous experience, just get there for 10.30, please, and ask for Anthony Co-Built.

Distinguished Gentleman's Ride photos

Who can forgive a Virago full dresser? Ever? Well I say when the rider is wearing a 3-piece suit and smoking Players finest shag, from a proper walnut pipe while carving up Marble Arch in central London, you do. This fellow and 55-odd others riding everything from a mint Honda SL185 to a faux rusty, cast-iron clad VFR street fighter, and wearing everything from tailor-made Harris tweed to highly inflammable polyester, met up in NW5 for the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride before ripping across town. Here are some snaps I made off the back of Geoff Co-Built's scooter. It was quite a bizarre ego boost to have lines of tourists in Camden, Chelsea, Oxford Street; well everywhere, all with their iPhones held up to relay the action. BP

Distinguished Gent's Ride - Update

There are more details of the London one (organised by The Bike Shed) and Corpses from Hell have set up a ride in Sheffield - THIS SUNDAY.
Paolo from the most gorgeous (newsstand) motorcycle magazine in the world, Riders, is attending the London one with a photographer, so you could get your mug in that wonderful Italian mag.
I'm hoping there will be some distinguished ladies too...
