Sideburn ambassador and Dirt Quake hero, Hubert Bastie has been included in a photo comp run by 100% goggles, with this photo.
Perhaps you're sick of being asked to vote for strangely-coloured people, but if you're on facebook, please give him your support. Not sure what he'll win, but he doesn't win very often so it would be appreciated.
Here's the link. G

Barstow Goggles; OSFA Edition
OSFA stands for One Size Fits All and is based around his 1967 Triumph TR6C. The idea is to race as many different disciplines with one bike, only changing wheels, tyres and handlebars. He's race the Catalina GP, Pikes Peak, short track, mile and motocross (maybe more that I've forgotten).
Find out more about the goggles and how to find them at The Barstow OSFA.
You can read about the first time Sideburn met Dimitri and his Triumph in Sideburn 5 (which we have a very small amount of very slight seconds on sale) and his about Pikes Peak race in Sideburn 10 or a portfolio of his work in Sideburn 20. And click the label with his name below to see lots of posts about this enthusiastic racer, photographer, father, do-er. Vive le Coste. G

Xtravue Goggles
We love finding the odd short run of stuff to sell in the webshop. We turned up these new, old stock British Bob Heath Xtravue goggles. These are loved in Japan and Ben, Mick and I are all having a pair, so there aren't many left. Get your own Xtravue goggles. G
We've also got new Get Thee Behind Me Satan stickers designed by Chris Watson. Free with every order. Great for bikes, cars, vans, toolboxes and notepads.

Military Spec Goggles, Mudscrapers and More
We got the chance to buy some brand new MilSpec Ariete goggles in black and NATO green, so they're up in the webshop. They are the same shape as Ariete's MX goggles, but have ballistic lenses and are plain black with plain straps or plain green with, yes, green straps. Very understated.
We also picked up some handy mudscrapers (below) and brake clips. Treat yourself.

Anvil Motociclette, Milan
I've met the Anvil guys and girls a couple of times now. I like them. They sent an email previewing some new Monkee-esque Honda they're building (below). It reminded me I liked their touring holiday snaps, above, from when they went to Corsica. My bike touring holiday snaps never look like that.
Check them out at Anvil Motociclette.
Can anyone get me some of those Viking goggle? G

Aviator Retro Pilot T3 Goggles
From our friends at Davida. That top shot is from BP. He's good, eh? GI
'Beginning in 1990, the Anglo-French collaboration between helmet manufacturer Davida and goggle manufacturer Leon Jeantet aimed to develop a range of goggles designed to complement the classic shapes and designs of the Davida helmet.
The launch of the Aviator Retro Pilot T1 &T2 proved an instant success with fans of open-face Jet helmets. One size never fits all however so the Aviator Retro Pilot T3 has been introduced to the range. They feature a smaller frame and more compact padding to better fit the smaller shells of the Speedster helmet and the medium, small and X small Davida Jet helmet. They are particularly suited to people with small or narrow faces.
All are finished in soft black goats leather and are available with either chrome, gunmetal and gold frames.'
